The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Tuesday, October 25, teases that Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) will be furious over Diane Jenkins’ (Susan Walters) betrayal while Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) fears the return of troublemaker Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).
At the ranch, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will tell Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) about Diane crying in Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) office.
Phyllis will also argue that once Diane snaps, not even Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will want her around.
When Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) finds Jack drinking alone at the Abbott house, she’ll wonder what’s wrong.
Jack will confess that Ashley, Nikki and Phyllis were right about Diane, who got stuck in a sketchy situation with Tucker and has been lying all along.
Ashley won’t really care that Tucker was keeping tabs on her, but she’ll definitely care that Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) was dragged into all this.
However, Jack will admit to understanding Diane’s perspective on some level and won’t think her behavior was malicious.
Jack will act like everything Diane did was for survival, but he’ll acknowledge that they need more information.
Ashley will still plan on stringing Tucker along to score intel and will think the whole family needs to be prepared for anything.
At Crimson Lights, Diane will be in a bad mood when Tucker appears.
Tucker will quiz Diane and realize she confessed to Jack, but she’ll argue that she had to get ahead of this and do damage control.
Diane will admit she told Jack about her involvement with Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) and Tucker, so Tucker will seethe since he’ll know Jack’s going to spread the news.
Of course, Tucker will be most concerned about Diane destroying any chance he had with Ashley.
Diane will note that she only told Jack that Tucker wanted info on Ashley – nothing else.
Besides, Diane won’t think that Tucker had a real shot with Ashley anyway.
Tucker will make it clear that Diane’s confession is going to tear down everything she’s built, but she’ll think Jack will help her preserve the relationships she’s built with Kyle and Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez).
Although Diane will insist she painted herself as a victim, Tucker won’t believe Jack or anyone else will ever see her that way.
Furthermore, Tucker will think Diane should be more worried about how he sees her – and right now, he’ll see her as a liability!
Over with Jack, he’ll think back to when he pushed Diane to embrace her clean slate.
After Jack remembers Diane kissing him, he’ll try to shake off those thoughts.
Soon after, Phyllis will find Diane at the coffeehouse and wonder what she did to screw up this time.
Diane will call Phyllis relentlessly destructive and argue that she’s like a vulture who feeds off other people’s pain.
Phyllis will act like Diane is launching a vicious attack when she’s just acting out of concern for her family.
Diane, on the other hand, will think Phyllis is savoring an opportunity to say “I told you so.”
At the nightclub, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will apologize to Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) and Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) for his earlier fight with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic).
After Chance gets summoned to a crime scene, Abby will serve as Devon’s confidant.
Devon will admit that Nate is no longer his COO and will bring up the points Nate raised regarding Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John).
Abby will wonder if there’s any validity to Nate’s line of thinking, so Devon will acknowledge that he does want to hold onto Neil’s memory.
That’s why Devon struggled to even get on board with the merger until he suppressed his doubts.
Devon won’t know if Nate was right to claim he purposely held him back because of Neil, but he’ll know Nate made the wrong choice in how he responded.
Abby will be glad that Devon understands that and will put her arms around him in a moment of comfort.
When Chance returns unexpectedly, he’ll spy Abby all cozied up to Devon and seem uneasy.
Chance will admit he got someone else to cover for him and will want to steal Abby back for a dance.
At Society, Billy will have a celebration farewell dinner with Lily before things get sticky with Jill Abbott (Jess Walton).
Although Billy will know he has to tell Jill about his decision to walk away, he’ll feel like Lily has everything under control.
Lily will admit she’s concerned about Billy having too much time on his hands.
In the past, that’s gotten Billy in trouble, but he’ll push Lily not to worry about him and will convince her to dance.
When Ashley arrives, Billy will realize she’s meeting Tucker for a drink and won’t be happy about it.
Lily and Billy will quickly head on their way once Tucker shows up.
At the bar, Tucker will wonder if Ashley’s text means she’s open to giving him the benefit of the doubt.
Ashley will insist that depends on how honest Tucker is, so he’ll claim he’s an open book.
As Tuesday’s Y&R episode wraps up, Ashley will want to know everything about Tucker, Diane and Los Angeles, so she’ll tell him to go slow and start at the very beginning.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Tucker and Ashley’s relationship will get more complicated as time goes on, so stay tuned!
