In tonight’s 1000-lb Sisters episode, Tammy got married tonight. No one thought she would and then she did. The wedding happened quite fast. Even for her. It was coming after she finally accomplished what she always wanted to do and that was to qualify for weight-loss surgery.
However, Tammy still has a long road ahead of her. She was still recovering from surgery. She was doing her best to maintain her weight loss. She didn’t really needed to throw herself into a new relationship or rush things to the point she was already getting married except this was Tammy. Tammy didn’t always think things through.
The family has come to expect that of Tammy. Tammy met her fiancé at the rehab center. They fell in love there. Sure, they sped their way through a relationship but it wasn’t because she was pregnant.
Something that her family had been worried about. It was because they were practically living together as it is and they saw each other each every waking minute. Tammy felt she knew everything there was to know about Caleb. She still had to assure her family that she wasn’t pregnant prior to the ceremony and that wasn’t enough for them.
They wanted to discuss birth control with her as well. They didn’t want Tammy to accidentally get pregnant. Especially as they barely knew this Caleb. They had spoken with Tammy every day and she didn’t mention this guy until it suddenly got serious. Then she told them she was getting married. It came out of left field and so they were suspicious at first.
They asked Caleb if he was willing to assign a prenup. Tammy did have her show with her family on TLC. She also was an influencer because she does make money from her YouTube channel. And Caleb ended up winning brownie points when he agreed to the prenup.
Only Caleb did drag out his answer. He waited for a while before he agreed and so that could mean nothing or it could mean everything. There’s just no telling because this wedding happened wait too fast.
Though Amy had lived up to her promise. She promised her sister that she would throw her a beautiful wedding like Tammy did for her. Amy did decorate the bingo hall at the rehab center and she and the other sisters did the best they could. And while this was happening, Caleb was struggling to find some clothes to get married in.
Caleb had ordered a suit. It just didn’t fit him when he tried it on the morning of his wedding. It was too small and so he got scared because he didn’t want to embarrass himself in front of his wife on his wedding day. He wanted to be a man that she was proud of. He wanted to be someone who looked good in pictures beside her. Caleb was doing his best to loose weight like Tammy did. He simply wasn’t at his gold weight just yet. He ended up borrowing a pair of pants from another person in the building and thankfully the pants were black. They went with everything and they eventually went with a new blue polo shirt that Caleb had also borrowed.
Caleb looked handsome on his wedding day. Tammy had looked absolutely beautiful. She found a wedding dress that fit and she was rocking a tiara. She had her own royal wedding. Her bridesmaids were all wearing the same dress. Everyone had dressed up. But the best part was when no one objected when asked during the ceremony. Tammy had been worried about her family and so she was glad they didn’t pull anything on her big day. She truly loved Caleb. Caleb seemed to love her. And their wedding was sweet as well as funny.
Caleb quoted “The Lion King” during his vows. Tammy couldn’t wait to kiss till the end of her vows to kiss him. All in all it was a great day for the couple. They had some worries going into their big day and then at the final minutes it all just came together. They thought that nothing could deter them from celebrating the rest of their lives and then Amy decided to get creative with her Matron of Honor speech. It was Tammy’s big day yet Amy made it about herself. She even admitted that she had been holding in a fart for the longest in her speech.
Amy also started swigging from a bottle of fake wine. Tammy assumed that Amy thought it was real wine and thankfully it wasn’t because Amy was embarrassing herself without the alcohol. Real wine would have just made it worst. Amy forgot what Tammy’s new last name was. She claimed that the guests were all there for her and Tammy and not Tammy and Caleb. She started to cry when she realized they weren’t the Slatons anymore. And then she actually broke wind.
Tammy couldn’t stop laughing about that and Caleb said it was okay because they were family now.
