On tonight’s 1000-Lb Sisters episode, Amy is outside with her son, she has been trying to eat right and exercise more since that incident that landed her in the hospital. Gage is super active and she is due in a week. She is concerned if she will be able to keep up with her kids. She has to focus more on her health so she can keep up with her kids. Chris shows up to plant a garden. The only thing Amy knows about gardening is that the plant goes in the dirt. Tammy says she is over the pregnancy, she just wants to have the baby.
Chris talks about skin removal surgery, he tries to stay motivated until he can have it. Amy was sitting on the ground and she couldn’t get up. Chris is concerned, Amy had her surgery and didn’t wait long before getting pregnant, and he is really worried about her having a second baby. Elsewhere, Tammy is doing everything she can to have surgery. A few moons ago she was afraid to go upstairs. But now, she is losing weight, she can go upstairs, and she is doing better. She has a video call with her doctor and she can’t wait to give him the news.
She tells him that she is under 550, she is 534. He tells her that is awesome, he is speechless. When he first met Tammy she was far gone, and he is so happy that she did this to her. She is grateful for her doctor, she feels like she owes him her life. He says they need to get her back to his office, to meet with specialists, to make sure they have everything done the right way so she qualifies for surgery. If they say it’s ok, she is getting her surgery. There are a lot of evaluations before Tammy gets clearance for the surgery. He asks her how she likes her therapist, and she says cool, no issues. She knows she has a hard time being vulnerable and she hopes that doesn’t cause any issues.
Michael and Amy are talking about Gage, he has been the only child for two years and when he sees Amy hold other babies he gets upset, they don’t know how he will react when there is a new baby in the house full time. Chris walks in to check on Amy because she is about ready to pop. Amy tells him that she gets her c-section in a few days and she can’t wait because there is a lot of pressure. Chris bought her a gator, loves gator and Chris wants to barbecue it. Chris says they are going to smoke it, they want to get away from fried foods, so this is a good idea. Amy says gator is a delicacy that she loves.
Tammy calls the family and reveals her milestone in weightless, everyone is happy. Tammy tells them she got approved for weight loss surgery. Amy hopes she doesn’t feel like she is left behind anymore. Amy says they are going to go from 1000-pound sisters to sexy sisters. Tammy was so happy to tell her family, she says it is an achievement, a win for her and everyone can’t be happier for her. Dr. Smith gave her the approval, but it is also up to the other doctors to give their approval, so she is nervous. Tammy says the devil tried to take her out and she overcame out. There is so much she hasn’t seen or done, and not anymore.
Chris invited everyone to his church to enjoy the gator, they have a lot to celebrate, Amy having her baby tomorrow and Tammy reaching her goal. Amy tries it and says it is spicy but good. Amy reveals that she is really worried if she will be a good mom to the two children. She is just worrying about everything, the c-section, it is all the emotions about the date finally arriving.
The next morning, it is still dark and they had to the hospital, in a few hours they will be a family of four. Amy arrives at the hospital and says she doesn’t care what happens to her, she just wants her baby alive.
Chris goes to Amanda’s house to wait for the news about Amy, he is hoping no news is good news. Iris is there as well, Chris’ grandson. Tammy calls and Amanda says the longer she waits the more worried she gets. Tammy wishes she could have been in the hospital with Amy. Amanda tells her that she will call when she hears from Amy. Amanda is anxious because Amy has health issues.
The doctors warned Amy about the complications because of her weight, but everything went great, he weighs five pounds, eleven ounces, and Amy is in recovery. Amy wakes up, she says she remembers hearing her son’s first cry, she is so glad that he is here, he is so perfect. She can see his future, whether it is a football player or president. Being a mom is what she wanted to do since she was five years old. Her family is complete now.
Amanda gets the call, she gets to see the baby, his name is Glen and he is so perfect. Amanda is so grateful that everyone is ok. Chris tells Amy that she did good and he is so happy that she fulfilled her dream to be a mother.If Amy didn’t reach her weight goal, she would never have made her dream come true. Next, Amy calls Tammy and her heart melts seeing the baby, she thinks he looks like her and Amy, and he is cute. Amy is so happy that her sister is alive to see her baby, her dreams are coming true.
Things took a turn for the worst, Michael has COVID, he got kicked out of the hospital, so it is just Amy and Glen and the hospital and she is so upset, she says it is hard with no support. They are also all at risk because they were around Michael.
