Tonight’s 7 Little Johnstons episode begins with Emma, she is helping Elizabeth and Brice pack up because they are going to move into their new place that Trent and Amber helped them find.
Brice loves his parents but he is so ready to get out and be an adult.
Since some of the family is going to Finland to meet Joose and his family, Amber wants them to practice and learn some Finnish. Rent says they don’t have to learn the bad words. Alex doesn’t think it is important because most Finish people speak English. Alex is sad that his cell phone won’t work in Finland, he won’t be able to speak to Allie while he is there.
It’s Jonah’s first day to go to work with Trent, and he is happy that he is going to contribute, although he is a little nervous to work with his dad. This is new territory for the two of them, Trent is not nervous, he knows Jonah has the ability to sell cars.
Amber says the progress that Jonah has made in the past year, she is really proud of him, but she hopes he stays on track while they are in Finland. Trent is happy that his parents are trusting him, his progress is paying off and he has come a long way.
Trent and Amber, Alex and Emma are on their way to the airport and since Jonah has the house to himself, it is time to have fun. He running around the house without any pants on when Trent goes back to the house, he thought he forgot his passport, but when he is just about to open the door, he realizes that he has his passport. They have to take three planes, from Atlanta to Dallas, Dallas to Helsinki, Finland and then to Rovaniemi, Finland.
They arrive at the cottage that Joose’s family owns, the have been very generous to let them stay there, they have been awake for about 26 hours. Joose answers the door and he is so excited.
Jonah has company over, Ashley, Anna, Elizabeth, Brice and his best friend Bryan, to enjoy ribs and play some games.
After a good nights sleep, the family heads out to see some reindeer. Emma is so happy, she loves animals. She never pet a reindeer before and is so happy to get to do it, Amber takes a photo. The woman who runs the place says the reindeer are like pets to them, they have 13.
After dinner it is time for the Jenna game, they play in teams of two and Anna loses, she has to buy ice cream for everyone.
Back to Finland, Joose is going to cook dinner so his family brought the family to Arctic Sky to forage for mushrooms and berries. Amber found the experience was really neat, Alex thought they did a good job, Joose agrees.
Emma is on the porch getting some quiet time and she sees the northern lights, the rest of the family runs outside to see them. Alex says they were amazing, like God turned on a disco ball in the sky.
Joose is putting on his apron, he is about to make dinner for the family. His papa is helping him cook, he does most of the cooking. Everyone loved the meal, Trent was surprised, he never had fish and gravy before but he loved it. Joose’s mother tells the Johnstons that he considers them their second family.
