In tonight’s 9-1-1 finale recap Buck still had the immovable roommate. Kameron came to his place to escape from her husband. Only it’s been a couple of days now. She doesn’t seem to want to budge. She’s taken over someone else’s apartment and she doesn’t seem to care or want to leave. She was still angry at Conor.

Conor thought it was the hormones. Her husband made the mistake of telling Kameron what he thought it was. She was now so angry with him (partially from the hormones) that she was refusing to take his calls.

Kameron and Conor were using Buck as their intermediary. Buck talked to the both of them. He tried to reconcile them. He just couldn’t get them to talk to each other.

It’s gotten so bad that the others were making fun of Buck for being in this situation. They’ve said everything from it being a weird throuple to asking him if he needed a new place to stay because he abandon his apartment to Kameron. The 118 were still laughing about it when they got a call about an accident on the overpass.

People weren’t paying attention. They drove into each other. There was a young woman named Josephine who got injured with her friend Mallory. Mallory actually was Josephine’s late mother’s best friend.

Josephine used to travel the country with her mom. And after her death, Mallory wanted to help her with the tradition but Mallory was in the back of the van when another car hit them. She was facing possible spinal injury. The 118 were quick to the scene and they had called for air transport for Malloy.

They themselves were going to take Josephine to the hospital in their ambulance. They were still on the overpass when some clown decided to turn a simple car accident into a mass casualty event.

The guy fell asleep in the driving seat of an eighteen wheeler. He was so asleep that he ignored the signs that said there was an accident up the road and that the path was cut off. He then crashed into the pillars of the overpass. It brought the overpass down due to all the cracks. And the whole of the 118 came crashing down with it.

All except for Ravi. Ravi thankfully didn’t go crashing down which turned out to be a good thing because he helped rescue the others. Buck fell and he landed on the ambulance. He later came to. He tried to reach out to everyone in his team. Hen was knocked unconscious, but Buck woke up her up and he heard from both Eddie and Chimney. The only one that was MIA was Bobby. Bobby fell down to the street below. He was covered in debris. He also couldn’t use his radio. It had gotten disconnected in the crash.

Buck was meanwhile rescuing the others with Ravi’s help. They got out Hen, Eddie, and they almost lost Chimney. Chimney was pierced by the gurney that Jo was on. Buck thankfully also got out Josephine. Buck later heard from Maddie. Maddie was the dispatcher that caught this call. Lucy called her. Lucy was with air support. She was rushing Mallory to the hospital when she saw that overpass go down. She called for help the moment she saw it. She could see from her position that the 118 was going to need it.

Maddie didn’t breathe easily until she heard that they found Bobby. Technically, someone else found Bobby. It was someone that Bobby once rescued. Athena was at the scene and she was taken to her husband. He was caught under rubble at the bottom of the overpass. She’s the one that called for the rest of the 118 to come help her husband. Buck led the charge once again in rescuing Bobby. They were able to get him out from under all of that. The whole of the 118 was rushed to the hospital. Buck eventually got the clear to go home. And his day wasn’t over.

Buck delivered Kameron’s baby. Kameron ignored the signs that she was labor until the baby was already on its way out. Buck was thankfully a professionally and he delivered the little guy. He took one look at the baby and he fell in love. Only he wasn’t going to be the dad. He called Conor. Conor rushed to the hospital and the new family of three were happy with their buddle of joy. Buck had also been happy that he helped them. Also, the woman that ghosted Buck had stopped by his apartment to talk and she helped support Kameron as the baby was born.

Natalia was a death doula. She sees people at the end of their lives, never at the beginning. She can now say the beginning is a lot messier than she thought. Natalia went to Buck’s apartment because she wanted to try again and he really liked her and so he didn’t mind forgiving the ghosting thing. And Natalia helped him pick out a new couch because a baby being born on there tends to ruin leather.

Bobby and Athena later took the time off to finally enjoy their cruise. Eddie got himself a date. Hen and her wife were going to become new moms to a baby girl that they might get to adopt. And Chimney and Maddie planned their wedding at home.

THE END!
