In tonight’s 9-1-1 Lone Star episode, Mouse was coming back from a soccer match. Her parents couldn’t make it and so she went to the away game with a friend and his parents. The other family were really nice. They also helped Mouse to feel a little less alone. Only they sadly they had a car accident on their way home.

Mouse had survived the car accident with no injuries. The others hadn’t been as lucky and then the little girl somehow found her way to Marjan’s car. Marjan was the other vehicle in the car “accident”. She was driven off the road because she had helped someone.

Marjan was on her way back to Austin. She felt she’s been in exile long enough. She wanted to return to work. She called up Owen. She asked him if she could come back and he told her he would be happy to take her back. Marjan was one of his best firefighters. She was also a really great friend.

Marjan hadn’t told the others about the drama she faced on the road. She helped a young woman get away from her abusive boyfriend. She even made sure that Kiley got on a bus to Florida. Marjan has a sister there and she will meet up with Kiley once Kiley arrives. And so Marjan had thought that was it.

Marjan didn’t know that Kiley’s boyfriend followed her from the bus depot. Grant blamed her for Kiley finally becoming brave enough to leave him and so he didn’t follow Kiley to Florida. He chose to stay behind to follow Marjan. He waited until she was on the open road before he tried to run her off it.

He was in a big RV though the car accident did hurt him just as much as it injured Marjan. They were both down for a while. Marjan came to with Mouse doing her best to revive her. It was also weird because Mouse suspiciously knew that Marjan was a firefighter.

Marjan wasn’t in uniform. She wasn’t driving a fire truck and still this Mouse girl woke her up. She asked Marjan to check on her friends. Which Marjan did. She realized that everyone else in the car was dead and she took Mouse to the road where they tried to flag down help.

There was one man who stopped for them only he didn’t seem to see Mouse. It was just Marjan who could see Mouse. Mouse was also a nickname by the way. She never said what her real name was and so there’s a possibility she was a memory if not outright hallucination.

Anyways, Marjan was receiving help when Grant appeared. He had a gun. He shot the man that was helping Marjan and he also shot Marjan before she managed to run away from him. Marjan, believing she was protecting Mouse, did her best to hide from Grant. She even snuck into his RV to leave behind a message. She stole his flare gun while she was there, too. She wanted to use the flare gun to help people find them. Only she was losing a lot of blood. Marjan had to pack the wound and even that wasn’t enough.

Marjan became woozy. She was unsteady on her feet. She started to lose consciousness and so it’s a good thing her friends were looking for her. They got worried when Marjan failed to arrive at her surprise party. She knew about the party and she would never ghost them and that alone told them something was wrong. They called Grace. Grace was still at the office. They had her check on Marjan’s GPS. Grace couldn’t track her except she saw that Marjan tried to call 911 twice with both calls getting dropped because of the poor connection in the area.

They also looked into Marjan’s last few days. They found out she was involved in a domestic dispute and that she helped rescue a woman from her abusive boyfriend. They contacted Kiley. They asked her about Grant and she told them she was worried when she didn’t see him. He was probably going to try and kill Marjan first before he tries to track her down to kill her as well.

After hearing what Kiley had to say, Owen decided to split up the group. Some stayed at his place in case Marjan showed. And the others like himself had gone to the highway that Marjan was last seen traveling on.

They weren’t driving for long when they found the dead man that tried to help her. They then searched the nearby woods. They heard Grant’s screams as Marjan shot him with a flare gun. It eventually killed him. It also started a fire. Marjan would have died in the flames if Owen hadn’t found her in time. Mouse even confirmed that Marjan didn’t have to worry about her anymore. She was just a hallucination. She was a childhood memory of Marjan herself. And she showed up when Marjan needed a friend to encourage her to fight back.

Marjan took down Grant. She saved herself and that’s when Mouse knew she was no longer needed. She disappeared. Marjan could finally focus on herself and she did just that as she was recovering from both the car accident as well as the gunshot wound.

Marjan will recover and her friends will be there every step of the way. She also remembered that as a little girl she was involved in a car accident with her friend and his parents. They hadn’t made it, but Marjan had never forgotten them.

THE END!
