In tonight’s 9-1-1 Lone Star episode, Tyler and Carlos meet with candidates to officiate their wedding. They interview a handful of colorful and interesting characters. They are both overwhelmed and the process brings up whether or not they want to have kids. Carlos doesn’t seem to want children. But he knows one thing – Tyler will be a great husband.
A couple shops for a luxury car. They share with their salesman that they had their house burn down and ended up with a hefty GoFund Me. They were unexpectedly given a home by her uncle. The husband of the couple thinks it is ok for them to use the funds for a great car. His wife knows its wrong.They take a fast car for a ride. They end up driving so fast they veer off into a detour and construction. Manure is poured into their convertible as they scream.
The crew comes to dig the couple out. They all know what the couple did with their Go Fund Me. Tyler checks their temperature as the couple spits cow manure out of their mouths while they swear. The crew teases them, moving slow. The couple begs for help. Marjan makes a funny social media video of the couple apologizing after and thanking the 126 for their help.
Back at the fire house, Tyler asks Cap about having kids. She tells him about her struggles but explains there is so much to enjoy. Meanwhile, Marjan is at PT. Paul is at her session and teases her, saying she is flirting with her therapist.
Marjan is on social media. She seems her ex has moved on and had had a baby. The whole thing upsets her. Back at the fire house, the gang tries to talk here into dating again. She says yees after they offer to be her chaperone. Owen tells her she needs to join several sites. Soon she is dating several men with everyone taking their turn to chaperone.
Marjan appears to fall for one man. Owen thinks he is a charmer too. Later, Marjan freaks out when he doesn’t call right away. She tells the gang at the firehouse she plans to call him. They scream no at her. She hates this whole process. Suddenly her love interest texts her. She is calm and happy again.
A pregnant woman has tracked down her cheating husband at a nearby motel. She tries to get the front desk to tell her what room he is in but they wont tell her. She goes outside and steals a bulldozer that is nearby. She drives it straight through the front door.
The 126 arrives to help the soon to be mother. Marjan talks some sense into her. They get her to safety. After, Marjan realizes the pregnant woman’s cheating husband was her recent date.
Tyler sits and talks to Owen while Owen eats fried chicken. Tyler wonders about his future with Carlos while Owen tries to get over Marjan’s prince being a cheater. Meanwhile, Carlos talks to his grandmother. She tells him if he knows Tyler is his person he doesn’t let him go. They both need to work through their indifferences in the end.
Marjan and Paul go grocery shopping. Marjan runs into her therapist. It seems they have a lot in common. He is Muslim and attractive. She asks him out on a date. He accepts. That night, Carlos gives Tyler a new lizard. He knows he wants kids but he isn’t there yet.
