In tonight’s 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days episode, just because Gino was rocking a new hat doesn’t mean he’s changed. Gino was still problematic. He pretends to be a people pleaser when really he’s someone that loves the drama. It’s why he seeks out problematic people. He was letting Jasmine believe that their intimacy was a struggle for him because of her and not because his heart wasn’t in it. There should be no reason why a man like Gino shouldn’t find a happy ending with someone as beautiful as Jasmine. Yet, that’s the part he was struggling with.
Gino used to text his exes naked pictures of Jasmine. He now couldn’t bring things to a conclusion. He also wasn’t talking to Jasmine about it and so she’s seeking out surgical procedures to make things a little tighter for him. Jasmine comes with her own problems. Only she didn’t deserve half the crap he puts her through. Gino always turns things around to say its Jasmine’s fault for this, that, and whatever comes to mind. He hasn’t even confided in anyone about their intimacy problems. He keeps such information to himself.
All the while he tells his family that Jasmine hasn’t signed a prenup. It really shouldn’t be a surprise for any of them. They all watched the last season these two were on. They know that Jasmine has refused to sign a prenup in the past and that she was still shooting it down because she said she wants to punish Gino if he messes up again.
Gino’s family now wants to make the prenup a condition for her to come to the United States. They said she would respect him more if he demands it. Gino for his part had pretended to go along with them. And most likely he will tell Jasmine that his family keeps bringing it up.
Gino was a man who loves being in the middle while men like Riley really want love. Riley was planning on going to Vietnam to see his girlfriend, Violet. They’ve been together for a while. He was hoping to take their relationship to the next level and bring her to the US and so he was surprised to find out she badmouth him during a rough patch. She actually texted his father that Riley will die alone because he doesn’t understand real love. She was very nasty. Riley hadn’t seen that side of her before this.
Riley got really upset after reading the texts. He felt like canceling his trip to Vietnam. He wasn’t even sure if he still wanted to be in a relationship with Violet if she sends that kind of text to his family of all people. Riley was reconsidering things, but at least he wasn’t catfished like Tyray was. Tyray thought he was in a relationship with a woman named Carmella. Carmella allegedly lived in Barbados. She was young. She was attractive. She also passed his test because she stayed in a relationship with him even after he told her he wasn’t going to send money.
It turns out the test wasn’t a very good one because she ghosted right after that. She waited a couple of months and then she began texting him again and this time he gave in to her money demands. He gave her what she asked for. He didn’t mind that the demands kept going up.
He genuinely thought they had a future together and the whole time she wasn’t even a woman. Carmella was in fact Christian. Christian has been catfishing Tyray to get money out of him. He told the show’s producers all about it because they wanted to interview Carmella and they couldn’t do that if she doesn’t exist.
The producers then told Tyray that Carmella doesn’t exist. He must have refused to believe them because that’s the only thing to explain what happened next. He said he knew Carmella and that he doesn’t want to walk away from the relationship just yet. He texted her. He wants to maintain contact with her. He didn’t instantly acknowledge he’s been conned. He continues to believe he might have a relationship with Carmella and who really knows what Christian will do next? Christian might keep catfishing to get more money out of Tyray.
Tyray went on to meet up with family. He told them what the producers said. He also told them that he was unsure about Carmella. He still used the name “Carmella”. Not Christian! It doesn’t matter what the producers found or the fact that he tried to meet up with Carmella once. He flew to Barbados. Carmella ghosted him by never showing up and she didn’t get back into contact with him until he was back stateside. Tyray was willing to ignore all of that because he doesn’t seem like he wants to walk away from the situation.
His family tried to help him see the light. The producers assisted with this because they too felt bad for Tyray. They had apparently recorded their conversation with this Christian. Tyray’s family asked to hear the tape and it was barely playing when suddenly Tyray walked off. He didn’t want to hear the conversation. Or hear Christian admit to the con. He wasn’t ready to admit that Carmella was Christian or that he’s been in a relationship with a con artist for the past several years. He couldn’t take in the information just now. He still needed time to think about everything. As if it could still be explained away.
Amanda was another genuine soul looking for love. She lost her late husband due to cancer and both she and her kids were ready to try love again. Amanda was hoping that the person to join their family will be Razvan. Razvan was Romanian. He was handsome. He works as a model and he wants to become an actor. It’s been his dream since he was a kid to be an actor. The show can be a great launchpad for that. The show was supposed to be about finding love only some tend to use it to further their career.
Which leads people to wonder if Razvan was possibly using Amanda. Amanda was just getting back into dating. She was looking for a man that would never leave her or her kids and she wanted that man to be Razvan. Razvan on the other hand wasn’t ready to be anyone’s dad. He was still friendly with his ex-wife and he told her about Amanda. He told her about talking to Amanda’s kids. He said he was willing to be a friend for them. He just wasn’t ready to be a dad. His ex tried to tell him that being a dad comes with being in a relationship with Amanda.
Razvan either has to be ready for the responsibilities or he has to stop wasting Amanda’s time. He should have told Amanda everything before she flew out to Romania and he didn’t. She took several flights. She got there. She was happy to see Razvan in person. She just needs time to ease into the relationship because again she was widowed. She has a reason for not wanting to fully put herself back out there and so it was a good sign when Razvan said he wouldn’t rush her. He seems to care about Amanda. It was just the father thing that was tripping him up.
David meanwhile got on a flight. David was deaf. Traveling was hard for him. He hasn’t been on a flight in eighteen years and he risked it anyways because he was hoping to get engaged to his girlfriend. Her name is Sheila. She lives in the Philippines. They’ve been dating long-distance for the past two years. David was willing to go visit her for the first time to see if their relationship truly has a future. He wants to get married. He wants to bring her to the US. He just has to meet her first. He also has to find a way to communicate with her.
David communicates through ASL. Sheila doesn’t really know that much ASL. She started learning it after she began dating David. Only she has a temper on her. She sometimes speaks out loud if David frustrates her or if she’s mad at him. Sheila was working on that and she was doing her best to learn ASL because she’s going to need it herself. Sheila was going deaf. She suffered an injury to her eardrums. She currently wears a hearing aide only she said that the aide won’t be enough in the future.
Sheila also has a son. He was twelve and. He lives with her and her parents. Sheila was a teenager when she had him. She dumped her son’s father because she thought he was too young to be a true parent, but she and her family live under stressful conditions. They don’t have running water. She has to take pails to the water well and bring back water for her family to use. Her place was also on the small side. There wasn’t a lot of maneuverability much less room for any luxuries. And David might be shocked when he sees it.
As for Riley, he got so upset that he hired a private investigator over in Vietnam. He wanted to get information on his girlfriend. He wanted to find out if she was seeing other guys on the apps. He also wanted to know if she was staying faithful in Vietnam. And so the private investigator might tell him everything that Violet lies about.
And Gino reunited with Jasmine in Panama.
