In tonight’s America’s Got Talent episode, it was Night Six of the Auditions! Up first was Mariandrea Villegas. She was fourteen. She was adorable, she was so cute. She was from Mexico. She came with her parents and she hit the stage tonight to show off her dancing skills. She was a Cotemporary dancer.

With some contortionist thrown in. She dances beautifully. She contorted scarily. She chose the perfect song. She instilled a lot of emotion in her performance, but was it worthy of a Las Vegas show? Or even a live show of AGT? The judges certainly believed it was. They were all impressed by Mariandrea. Sofia appreciates her acting as well as her dance. And they all voted yes to send her into the next round.

Next up was a chorus. They were the 82nd Airborne Division All-American Chorus. They hail from North Carolina and they represent the nineteen thousand airborne division of the military. The men and women were all in fatigues. They came out tonight because they wanted to honor their fallen. They lost Specialist Elijah Crawford a week before their auditions. Him on top of the many others they lost will never be forgotten. The military wanted to remind the world of them. They started out marching out the music until they split into a mashup of “My Girl” and “I’ve Got Sunshine”.

The servicemen and women sounded amazing. They put on a great performance. They got the crowd interested in both their story as well as their talent. They truly won over the crowd. There wasn’t a single judge who gave them a no. They loved their performance just too much to pass on it. The 82nd Airborne Division All-American Chorus made it into the next round. Now it was onto Artem. Artem was a magician. He was also really funny. He didn’t freak out the audience like so many magicians have done before. And so that won him four yesses from the judges.

MOS went next. They were a Japanese all female band. They didn’t know much English. They had a hard time answering questions and so they let their music do all the talking for them. They performed “Bang Bang”. It was just so good that it got the audience on their feet. They were dancing along to the music. They loved it so much and they ended up giving the band a standing ovation. Most of the judges also loved it. All except for Simon. Simon said it wasn’t great the whole way through, And while he was facing down the boos from the crowd, the remaining judges voted to send MOS to the next round.

There were series of auditions that sadly were fast-tracked tonight. As in, they weren’t shown. They were still appreciated. They just weren’t shown. Then along came a handsome man who thought he could model his fingers. It’s not a euphemism. He really did try that. It was so stupid that it got a few laughs from the audience. Not from the judges though. The judges were pressing the reject sign as he was performing. The only one who didn’t press their reject button was Sofia. Sofia felt so bad for him that she voted yes and she was only one to have done son, The others sent him home with nothing.

Next up was Trent. Trent was a firefighter. He didn’t wear his uniform because it would be frowned upon. Only he did mention an ex-wife. Trent wasn’t over his ex-wife. They got married when they were young and they were too immature back then to make it work. He wants her back now. He thinks he can handle a marriage now. He admitted he came to the show to dedicate a performance to her and so the audience quickly fell in love with his story. Heidi even went up onstage because she wanted to go call his ex-wife.

Trent had to run out to get his phone. He came back with it and they called Faith. Heidi facetimed with her. Heidi mentioned how Trent wants her back. She said he dedicated a performance to her and then she kept Faith on facetime as Trent performed his original song. The same song he wrote in Faith’s honor. Luckily, Trent sounded great. His song was catchy. He showed off a beautiful singing voice. He also got to prove his devotion to Faith in front of a televised audience. And so Faith might take him back after this.

Trent was voted into the next round. Next up were the Cowbells. They were a puppet singing group. They also came along with their own puppet Simon and puppet Simon was as mean as the real one. It was funny. They also were great singers. Sofia didn’t appreciate the act because she hates puppets and so she pressed the reject button during the performance and the show went on in spite of her. Sofia would later say that she doesn’t think this performance was AGT worthy. None agreed with her because they all enjoyed the puppet show and so the act was put into the next round.

Following the Cowbells were Duo Desire. They were a husband and wife team. Dennis and Jillianna were aerial gymnasts. They didn’t have a place to practice during the pandemic and so they climbed trees for their workout. Now, they were on AGT. They performed a beautiful and sexy routine. It really blew away the audience. It also got a standing ovation from the judges. All except for Simon. Simone didn’t stand only he did still vote yes along with the others and Duo Desire were now going to the live shows.

Presley and Taylor went next. They were singers from a big Italian family. They were from Connecticut and they were also Country singers. Their whole family loved country music. They later moved to Nashville to pursue their singing dream. Nashville was a tough cookie and so they were hoping AGT would help launch their careers. Presley and Taylor came along with their band. Only it was clear on Simon’s face that he was bored out of his mind with this performance. The other judges at least gave it a try before voting no.

The sisters may not have made it, but there’s hope for them. The next act on the other hand had terrified everyone. This magician/torture artist hadn’t even given his name before he was terrifying the whole crowd by swallowing swords. Everyone begged him to be done and he just kept going. The crowd wasn’t okay after he finished. They hated it and yet they wanted to see more of it. The judges voted all four yesses. And a new hate/watch was created just for that performance alone.

Next up was Lavender. Lavender was twenty-seven. She was blind as well as autistic. She needed assistance to get to the stage and that’s where her story was revealed. Lavender was adopted later on in life. She started going to school where she asked a member of the staff to adopt her. He couldn’t at first only he eventually came to adopt her. And now she was on AGT. Lavender was a singer. She’s been performing since her school’s talent show and she gave a stellar performance of “On My Own”.

Lavender was such a delight that she received tonight’s Golden Buzzer! And she was the one to close out the night.

THE END!
