On tonight’s AGT season 18 episode 8 “Auditions 8″, as per the NBC synopsis, “The auditions continue as a variety of acts, featuring contestants of all ages, audition for the chance to win the $1 million prize. The Golden Buzzer is back, allowing a lucky act the chance to go directly to the live shows to compete for America’s vote.”

Tonight’s episode begins with Terry Crews welcoming the judges, Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum and Sofia Vergara.
The first act tonight are Edison and Gisele from Columbia, their little girl comes on stage to say hello. Sofia invites her to sit at the judges panel while they watch her parents perform, she sits on Sofia’s knee, her name is Gabriella. The couple is an acrobatic powerhouse who have incredible strength.
Sofia says it was sexy, it was incredible, it had it all and it was so beautiful to see them as a family doing this. Howie has never seen this before, they weren’t shaking and were so smooth. Heidi says she sees muscles but most importantly she sees grace.
It was so graceful, they have never seen this before, truly unique. Simon says he doesn’t love these kind of acts, but this was really, really good. Four votes from the judges gets them through to the next round.
Next is Summer Rios is 19 years old, she has been singing since she was four but has never performed. She will sing, “Something in the Orange.”
Howie says he feels like they just got a peek on what she can do and she really needs to open the door more to take off. Heidi loved it, she sounded like Rihanna.
She has a beautiful tone in her voice. Sofia says her voice is spectacular, she belongs on a stage. Simon says it was a great choice for the song, everyone wants her to do well and like her. Another four yes votes, she is off to the next round.
Teresa Hanula and her border collie Leonard Lee are next, and Leonard is going to try to do the most slam dunks in one minute. He has broken the world record twice with 18 in a minute, he will be trying for 19.
Terry sets the counter and does the count down. Something distracts Leonard Lee and takes his concentration off, and sadly he only did 18.
He tied his own world record. Howie thinks he could have beaten the record had he not stopped for a selfie. Simon is gutted that it was so close, that little hesitation caused the miss of a new world record.zUp next is Pulse Percussion are a group of kids that flaunt their impressive talent of combining music, movement and props. Howie says this was tremendous, so exciting and thrilling, he didn’t want it to stop. Heidi says it looks like a lot of fun, she loved the choreography, it was intense.
Sofia is not surprised that they are world champions, that was spectacular, and it looks like they have been working very hard. Simon says it is absolutely amazing, he agrees with Heidi, the drums are very cool, he can see this in Vegas. It is four yes votes from the judges.
Rob Patillo comes on stage dressed in cow costume and he has a guitar. He sings some kind of “soy” song. Simon and Howie are the first to hit the red X buzzers, then Sofia and Heidi. Simon asks if he has a second song, it is a yes from him. Everyone else says no.
Dev the devil is next, he has been fabulous for eternity and thinks he can win AGT. He sings, “I Will Do Anything,” by Meatloaf and destroys the song. Simon hits the red X buzzer and says he will do anything if he doesn’t sing again. Sofia says it didn’t make sense, so no.
Gabriel Henrique is a singer, rapper and TikTok star from Brazil. It is first time in the United States and it is his dream to sing for them. Sofia asks, on behald of Simon if Gabriel has any pets and he says a dog named Billy, but he recently lost him. He sings a Whitney Houston song, “Run to You.”He gets a standing ovation from everyone. Heidi says if Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey had a baby it would be Gabriel, he is incredible.
Howie didn’t expect that voice, he says he sounds like the best pop diva. Simon says people are really going to like him, he is interesting, he can tell he sang church and he doesn’t know how good he is. Sofia says she has no words, it was so perfect, his voice is beautiful. This was just what she was waiting for, something hearfelt, she hits the golden buzzer.
The next act is a puppet named Bun and he is a dog. His dream is bacon, and for the band to win the show and tell the world they story of their lives. A puppet horse comes out to play the drums and a cat named Noodle to play the guitar. They sing, “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing.”
Simon asks how it felt and Bun says it was amazing, the first time performing live. Simon says this is the best singing dog they have ever had in twenty years. Howie loves and says it is the most exciting thing ever. Heidi says they have had a lot of animals on stage who said they were going to perform, and Bun is the best they have ever had. Sofia says she loves and wants to take Bun with her. It is weirdly four yes votes for Bun to move forward.
Zion Clark is next, and he is a disabled athlete, he is 25 years old. He grew up with neither of his parents, he was thrown in the system when his father went to prison. He has a condition called caudal regression syndrome, it is very rare, and he has no legs. He was aging out in the foster system and finally got adopted at 17. His stepmother turned his life around and showed him his potential. He won three Guinness Records for the fast man with no legs. He does various exercises, lifting weights, climbing a rope.
Heidi tells him that he is so inspiring, and she is happy that he came to audition, and he is very handsome. Sofia says she loves his smile, he looks so happy despite what he has been through. Howie says they use the word amazing a lot, but he is, and he is very important. Simon says he is so happy that Zion came on the show, he has an incredible personality and defines the word inspiration, how he came through what he did with this attitude is incredible, he applauds him, amazing. It is four yes votes from the judges.
True Villains are an original rock band from Nashville and they will be singing, “Bad Guy. The group consists of five members, frontman Beau Lastavich, Tim Venerosa (guitar), Matt Carter (Drums), Greg Kerndon (Keys), and Lastavich. Simon say it was a great choice of song, brilliant.
He loved that version, they showed people how good they are. Howie says the voices were great, he wants to buy tickets and go see them. Heidi loved it. Sofia says it was a lot of fun, they were exciting and looked great on that stage. Four yes votes from the judges.
The next act is two small boys, Johnny and Ollie who are ten years old and called the twinjas who do martial arts against grown men and they are good. Simon says they are really talented. The judges loved them, they make it through.
HB Monte is a multi-talented artist, DJ, Producer, Songwriter, Hip Hop artist with 800k Spotify streams. Simon loved his Hip Hop performance, he gets four yes votes.
Bomba Trio are three men, Amit, Noam and Yaron from Israel and their act is a comic circus show. The three leave stage and return naked, only ping pong paddles to cover their privates.
A ball rolls on the floor and they have to pick it up. Simon says they were not expecting that. Howie loved it, he calls it tremendous. Heidi says they need smaller rackets, it is her favorite act of the day. Howie says yes, Heidi says yes, and so does Simon and Sofia.
Kylie Fry is 28 years old and her dream was to get a Grammy. She is from a big rodeo family, she loves to sing. She wrote this song for her grandpa. Simon really likes her, he loves the audition and thinks she is a great writer, the real deal. Heidi loved her, the whole band, the whole look and sound. Howie says it didn’t move him at all, he didn’t love it.
If he hears a song that he hasn’t heard before he wants it to stick in his head and it didn’t. Heidi says yes, Simon says yes, Sofia says yes and Howie is a no. Kylie makes it through.
The last act is Sonny Chatham from Paris, Texas, he is a singer, songwriter. Sonny keeps stalling, he tells Sofia how much he likes her, then tries to get the judges to pick a song by picking a card, he just keeps stalling. Sofia, Simon and Howie hit the red X buzzer. And finally, Heidi hits it as well.
Howie says their vision board has a picture of Sonny leaving stage. All of a sudden, Sonny takes off his mustache, he is really and she, Krista Komondor, a comedic performer from New York. Howie stands up and applauds her, she duped all the judges.
Howie says he liked her, reminded him of Andy Kaufman, he gives her a yes. Heidi says it was annoying, she gives a no. Sofia says that was the point, she gives a yes. Simon says she was the most annoying contestant, to everyone loves her so she gets a yes.
