Big Brother 25 (BB25) spoilers tease that the new season will be action-packed. CBS will reveal the complete cast, with interviews, on Monday, July 31. Julie Chen said that the new cast is unlike any other from seasons past. She disclosed that they have something to prove and want to make their family proud.
While Julie confirmed that the cast would be an all-new cast with no returning players, that doesn’t mean they won’t have ties to Big Brother alumni.
She said “familiar faces” will be part of the show (as cameos), but no returning players will be competing for the prize.
Chen suggested the cast could be relatives of previous players. For the past few months, many BB25 fans speculated that the theme could be “heroes vs. villains.” That would make sense if they planned to bring relatives of previous players.
Perhaps, they aren’t villains per se, but their brother/sister was. It could be an exciting theme.
Julie said the cast is hungry to make their mark on the game. With the monumental 25th season, Big Brother is banking on this cast to make this season great.
The game will be played for 100 days, with the season finale airing on Wednesday, November 8. Typically, the game lasts from 72-95 days.
Another tidbit we can share is that the first double eviction will occur during week 2.
Typically, the first double eviction is around weeks six to eight. Having a double eviction early in the season would stir up drama in the house.
The cast reveal will drop on social media on Monday, July 31. With the cast reveal and media photos, CBS will release the cast interviews. They want the BB25 viewers to get to know the cast before Wednesday’s (August 2) premiere.
The Big Brother Live Feeds will launch on Thursday, August 3, at 12:30 am. This allows the West Coast time to see the premiere.
