Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for next two weeks, January 1 to January 12, reveal that Holly Jonas’ (Ashley Puzemis) overdose will drag plenty of people into trouble. During the week of January 1-5, Tate Black (Jamie Martin Mann) will face a grilling session over the drug baggie at the scene.
After EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) gets notified about Holly’s ordeal, he’ll start hurling accusations. Tate will insist Holly showed him the drugs earlier, but he declined to take them.
Holly went off on her own and took some of the pills anyway, so that’s what landed her in her current predicament.
Unfortunately, EJ won’t believe that – just like Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) won’t believe Brady Black’s (Eric Martsolf) story about the drug bag being his own stash.
It’ll be obvious that Brady’s scrambling to help Tate out of this jam. Theresa Donovan (Emily O’Brien) will think Tate should let Brady handle this, but Tate will refuse to watch his father head to Statesville.
Sadly, Tate’s the one who’ll head there instead. After Tate says he won’t let Brady take the rap, he’ll end up in handcuffs and will ultimately have his bail revoked.
EJ will also deny Tate the chance to land at a juvenile detention facility by revealing that he’ll go on trial as an adult.
DOOL spoilers say Tate will be terrified once he realizes he’s going to prison, so Theresa and Brady will have to reassure him despite their own growing fears.
Speaking of growing fears, Nicole DiMera (Arianne Zucker) will barely be able to function as she frets over Holly’s grim condition.
Holly will be comatose and on a ventilator, but Nicole will hold out hope for her recovery since she won’t know what she’ll do if she loses her only daughter.
As for Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) and Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash), they’ll play innocent with Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) and face Clyde Weston’s (James Read) dangerous instructions later.
EJ will also corner Stefan and rip into him now that Holly’s fighting for her life. It sounds like EJ will suspect the drugs came from Clyde’s laced stash, so he’ll hold Stefan responsible on some level.
Days spoilers say Everett Lynch (Blake Berris) will listen in on EJ and Stefan’s argument, so that could bring some big news or at least some clues about Stefan and Ava working for Clyde.
Meanwhile, Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) will put Ava on the spot when he asks if she’s tangled up in a drug empire. Will Ava confess what she’s up against with Clyde or keep trying to hide the truth?
Regardless, Tripp will have some difficult updates to share with Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace), who’ll practically be packed and ready to leave for their China move.
It seems Tripp will explain that in light of everything happening with Ava and this Holly situation, he has to stay.
That’ll force Wendy to decide whether she’ll move back to Hong Kong alone or put love first and remain there with Tripp.
At the DiMera mansion, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) will feel like they’re on top of the world after a sizzling night together.
Abe Carver (James Reynolds) and Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) definitely won’t feel the same way since Abe will suffer some bedroom performance problems.
Other Days spoilers say Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) will open up to each other about the losses they’ve faced and how those losses can shape the future.
On another note, Sloan Petersen-Brady (Jessica Serfaty) will struggle to hide all the debt Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) is racking up and will do whatever she can to get his wild shopping sprees under control.
Since Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) and Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) were such a good team with Victoria Horton-Cook on New Year’s Eve, Xander will suggest Sarah should move in and live there full-time.
The idea of waking up with Victoria every morning will be appealing to Sarah – and so will the thought of waking up next to Xander if their romance keeps blooming.
During the week of January 8-12, Days spoilers say there’ll be a grandparent and grandchild reunion, but it may not be under pleasant circumstances.
Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) will surely visit Holly at some point, but John Black (Drake Hogestyn) might pay Tate a visit in prison to extend his support, too.
As for Brady, it looks like he’ll miss an opportunity to see Rachel Black (Finley Rose Slater) because he’s too busy dealing with Tate’s legal issues.
Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) will probably be cruel about it and suggest that if Brady can’t make time for Rachel now, then he won’t get another chance.
Meanwhile, it seems Everett and Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) will miraculously continue to avoid bumping into each other – and that’s no easy task in a town like Salem, where surprise encounters happen all the time!
Finally, someone will keep quiet about ancient history, so that’ll probably be Konstantin Meleounis (John Kapelos).
Konstantin recognized John after looking into his eyes, but he won’t want to spill too much and lose his upper hand.
Days of Our Lives spoilers hint that Konstantin knows some shocking facts about John’s time as “The Pawn,” but he’ll hang onto his secrets until he can use them to his full advantage.
