Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers preview video for the week of August 14-18 reveals that Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) will once again have to be the bearer of bad news. Justin already told his worried family about Victor Kiriakis’ (John Aniston) missing plane, but everyone will hold out hope that maybe it’ll turn up.
Unfortunately, Justin will later receive updates on Victor’s plane indeed going down.
Some Titan jet wreckage will be discovered in the Mediterranean – and sadly, there’ll be no sign of any survivors.
Of course, Justin won’t want to believe the worst until he knows all the facts. That’s why Justin will seek confirmation that Victor actually boarded the plane before they all start mourning.
Unfortunately, it looks like there’ll be proof that Victor indeed took that flight.
Justin will have to tell Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) that Victor’s truly gone, so she’ll be an emotional wreck as she struggles to cope.
Other Days spoilers say Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) will tear up when he learns Victor has really faced a grim fate.
It’ll be hard for Alex to grasp the idea of never seeing Victor ever again.
Although Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) have a fierce faceoff ahead over Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin), it’ll end with Xander breaking down in Brady’s arms over Victor.
There’ll be a bittersweet moment once Xander and Brady come together as family.
Brady will support Xander as he faces guilt over not patching things up with Victor while he was still alive.
Back with Maggie, she’ll crumble in John Black’s (Drake Hogestyn) embrace as he offers his condolences.
Justin will also sob as Bonnie Kiriakis (Judi Evans) tries to console him through this difficult loss.
Days’ weekly preview video features some Victor-related flashbacks – though there’ll undoubtedly be a whole lot more once Victor’s tribute episodes get underway.
Victor’s funeral is coming up, so that’s sure to be quite an event since he was such a huge force in Salem over the years.
Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) can be heard on the latest Days promo insisting “there will never, ever be another Victor Kiriakis.” DOOL fans can certainly agree since John Aniston was such a memorable, incredible performer.
