Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Friday, June 2, reveals that Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) opened up to Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) about Nicole Walker’s (Arianne Zucker) paternity dilemma and how Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) got involved in all the baby drama.
Eric also admitted Sloan said she loved him recently and that he said it back, which felt right in the moment.
However, Eric also confessed part of him was hoping he was the father of Nicole’s baby.
Marlena wondered if Eric would coparent with Nicole or reunite with her to raise this child, but Eric acted like the hypothetical questions didn’t matter since his bio dad status was still up in the air.
Nevertheless, Marlena felt like Eric’s unresolved feelings for Nicole were something he needed to take a closer look at regardless of the paternity outcome.
At the DiMera mansion on Friday’s Days episode, Nicole came clean to EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) about her pregnancy, so he realized she’d kept quiet because the baby might be Eric’s instead.
EJ blew up at Nicole and assumed she wanted to keep her options open, but Nicole argued that she wanted to wait and hopefully tell EJ that they were having a baby together.
Eric finding out about the pregnancy first derailed that plan, so Nicole felt she had to confess to EJ now.
EJ felt like the last to know since Sloan, Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley) and Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) were also in the loop.
Of course, Nicole had to point out that she might not even be able to carry this baby to term, so she hoped for EJ’s support since she’d been agonizing alone for so long.
Once EJ processed all this news, he settled down and let Nicole know he’d love nothing more than to have a child with her.
After Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) returned home from Greece on Friday’s Days episode, Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) showed up at the door.
Steve mentioned getting updates from Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) on Harris’ plan to move back to Salem and keep an eye on Megan DiMera (Miranda Wilson).
Although Steve felt that was already covered, Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) showed up and suggested they needed all the help they could get – especially with Abe Carver (James Reynolds) missing and Colin Bedford (Jasper Newman) on the loose.
Steve noticed that Kayla looked tired and told her to get something to eat, but she had to get back to the hospital.
Once Kayla got a text about the results she was waiting on, Steve asked if she was OK.
Kayla insisted she would be now that Steve was back and eventually phoned Nicole to let her know she could meet about the DNA results now.
Nicole got EJ to come with her to the hospital, but she also summoned Eric.
That led to a competitive vibe between EJ and Eric at the hospital, but Nicole needed the two of them to be kind to each other and to her.
It broke Nicole’s heart to think that her miracle could end in something fraught and painful, so she needed Eric and EJ to help her through this – no matter what the paternity results were.
“Can you do that for me, please?!” a frustrated Nicole shouted on Friday’s DOOL show.
Back at the DiMera mansion, Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) and Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) handed over their business proposal to Megan and Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk).
Kristen and Megan seemed skeptical about getting big enough roles in the company, but Gabi and Stefan assured them that they’d be crucial and hoped for their support in ousting EJ.
Afterward, Stefan gave Gabi a foot massage and made love to her upstairs.
As they canoodled in bed, Stefan and Gabi settled on July 31 as their wedding date since that was the same day they got married the first time around.
Unlike Gabi’s farce of a wedding with Li Shin (Remington Hoffman), Stefan was adamant that this one would be perfect.
Once Megan was alone with Kristen on Friday’s Days episode, she threw the proposal from earlier in the fireplace and asked if Kristen had a match.
Megan had huge plans of her own that stretched across continents, so Kristen wondered how she’d fund this global takeover.
Although Megan kept things vague, she confirmed she’d have plenty of money and that she’d follow in Stefano DiMera’s (Joseph Mascolo) footsteps.
Kristen warned that she wouldn’t be sidelined, but Megan pointed out that Kristen wouldn’t have as much time to devote to this project since she had a young child.
That said, Megan assured Kristen that her involvement in this scheme was paramount. Kristen decided that if she was going to assist Megan, she wanted something in return.
Since Kristen was tired of hearing no by attorneys, she demanded Megan’s help securing full custody of Rachel Black (Finley Rose Slater).
Megan also admitted she was concerned about Dimitri von Leuschner (Peter Porte) getting intercepted and running into trouble on the way home, but Dimitri appeared moments later and earned a smile from his devoted mother.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Megan will reveal some new shockers involving Dimitri and Kristen soon, so stay tuned to DOOL.
