Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Friday, June 30, reveals that Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) panicked at the hospital and was convinced she was losing the baby. Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) gave Nicole a pep talk and took her hand as he insisted he wasn’t going anywhere.
After the doctor revealed Nicole was suffering from round ligament pain and that it was normal, Nicole felt like an idiot. Eric argued that her reaction was perfectly reasonable and was relieved that the baby was OK.
Once Eric took Nicole home, she acknowledged that it must’ve been hard for him to be at the hospital with her.
Nicole was grateful to Eric for being there while EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) was MIA and pulled her ex into a warm embrace.
In Gwen Rizczech’s (Emily O’Brien) suite, she pushed Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) to consider the idea that he might simply be jealous that she’d found her Prince Charming.
Leo admitted that was possible, but he still felt that Dimitri von Leuschner (Peter Porte) was up to something.
Before Gwen accepted Dimitri’s proposal, Leo wanted a chance to snoop through the DiMera mansion – and he felt tonight would be the ideal time since everyone would be at The Bistro for the engagement party.
In Dr. Wilhelm Rolf’s (Richard Wharton) lab, he finished programming Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) to end Stefan DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) life.
Harris was unconscious after the procedure, but Dr. Rolf felt confident that he’d be ready to strike in time for the party.
Megan DiMera (Miranda Wilson) was pleased over that news, but she worried about how to handle EJ and Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) since they knew too much.
Dr. Rolf handed over a syringe full of CRS-17, which was his formula that affected memories.
How much Kristen and EJ forgot would depend on the dosage, but Dr. Rolf insisted he could make them forget Megan’s Stefan plot and the fact that she kidnapped them.
Once Megan returned to the DiMera mansion with the syringe, Dimitri saw her about to go down to the basement and questioned her.
Megan made excuses and quizzed Dimitri about his marriage proposal, so he believed he could convince Gwen to marry him at the party tonight.
Afterward, Megan gave Kristen and EJ a dose of CRS-17, so they quickly felt their memories slipping away.
When Leo arrived to snoop as planned, he was stunned to find Kristen and EJ being held captive.
Outside the pub on Friday’s Days episode, Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) texted Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) about Megan supposedly being transferred to a secure location.
Kate assumed Harris was sending the messages and was satisfied that he’d taken care of Megan for good.
However, Kate learned that wasn’t true when Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) met up with her.
Since Megan was hosting the engagement party they were headed to, Kate was taken aback over her still being a free woman.
Kate left Harris a voicemail about needing to see for herself what was going on, so Li listened to it and hinted about her potentially getting caught in the crossfire.
Li also crossed paths with Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace) on Friday’s Days episode, so he was alarmed over them going to Stefan and Gabi Hernandez’s (Camila Banus) engagement bash.
Since Li didn’t want Wendy to go, he ranted about how Stefan had humiliated him.
Li knew that Wendy was fond of Gabi and ultimately decided he wouldn’t stand in the way, but he pushed Wendy to be careful.
After Li hinted that anything can happen in a room full of DiMeras, he met back up with Dr. Rolf and got reassurance that Harris would only harm Stefan at the party.
Li figured people would suspect Megan was behind the programming since she’d done it before, but Dr. Rolf insisted he’d taken care of that.
At the DiMera mansion, Gabi’s zipper got stuck while Stefan was helping with her dress, so they took it as a sign that they should take clothes off instead of putting them on.
On Friday’s DOOL show, Stefan made love to Gabi before they finished getting ready for their celebration.
At The Bistro, Johnny and Wendy spoke to Chad as well as Stephanie.
There was some awkwardness since Stephanie thought Wendy was dating Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams), so Wendy admitted she went on a date earlier with Tripp before her current one with Johnny.
Chad suggested it was none of their business before turning his attention to Dimitri, who walked in with Gwen on his arm.
Dimitri hoped Gwen would accept his wedding proposal soon, so Chad and Stephanie were stunned over his updates.
Chad admitted he wouldn’t be offering his approval, but Gwen assured Dimitri that they didn’t need it.
Gabi and Stefan eventually arrived on Friday’s Days episode, so they commented on the guests disliking them along with each other.
In the town square again, Megan ran into Kate and pushed her buttons before dashing off to play party hostess.
Once Megan showed up and kicked off the bash with a speech, she proposed a toast to the happy couple.
Suddenly, Harris appeared in the doorway looking determined. Megan feigned surprised and asked what armed Harris was doing there as he prepared to fire.
