Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Friday, March 24, reveals that Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) awoke following his collapse and learned that his doctor thought he’d be fine. However, Hope Williams Brady (Kristian Alfonso) was concerned after Harris’ difficult treatment and wanted to stay by his side.
When Harris talked about getting his life back, Hope wondered what he wanted to do with it.
Harris admitted the navy had been his whole life, but he doubted Hope could pull the strings needed to get him back in now.
Once Harris reflected on the time they wasted playing games, he said he wanted to spend more time with Hope and get to know the real versions of themselves.
Hope needed to trust Harris and had to go slow, but she confessed that she wanted that, too.
Meanwhile, Ciara Weston (Victoria Konefal) and Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) were in a Maryland hotel after docking their boat.
Bo Weston was asleep as Ben and Ciara made plans to stop by Salem since they were back in the United States.
After Ciara and Ben reflected on the tragic losses of Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) and Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow), Ciara felt queasy and wound up running to the bathroom.
That led to Ciara admitting she was late, so Ben rushed out and got a pregnancy test for her.
The result was positive on Friday’s Days episode, so Ben and Ciara celebrated the news of this unexpected family addition.
Ciara eventually called Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) to let him know they were headed to Salem and mentioned Hope, which brought Shawn’s updates on where their mom was.
Since Hope was at the ISA facility in Maryland, Ciara showed up there and caught Hope kissing Harris.
The sight of that caused Ciara to ask “what the hell” was going on.
On a plane in Friday’s Days episode, Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) explained the nautical chart that Harris had remembered and the coordinates that he’d given Hope.
That allowed Steve and John Black (Drake Hogestyn) to narrow down an area of about 30 islands where Megan Hathaway (Miranda Wilson) could be in the Mediterranean.
There was only one with an abandoned military base that had previously served as a research lab, so Steve and John guessed Megan could be holed up there.
At Megan’s facility on Friday’s DOOL show, Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) announced that he was leaving now that he’d seen his file and had all these questions. It was time for Bo to get out there and find himself.
Megan mocked the cliché and felt that she could answer anything Bo needed to know.
After Megan tried to inject Bo with a serum to adjust his attitude, he fought her off and injected Megan with it instead.
Although Bo was grateful to Megan for bringing him back to life, he knew he had to escape and figure things out for himself.
Bo headed for the door after leaving sedated Megan on the floor.
Over with Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton), he woke Kayla up and explained the fountain-of-youth serum that he wanted to test.
Kayla ultimately put the puzzle pieces together and figured out that Megan wanted to reunite romantically with Bo, so her brother had to be alive.
After Kayla fought the injection and hurled Dr. Rolf away from her, she made a break for it.
Once Kayla ran around the corner, Steve and John just missed her as they searched for Megan.
When Bo opened the lab door to leave, Kayla was standing on the other side. The encounter left Kayla stunned as she reunited with Bo and exclaimed his name.
Back with John on Friday’s Days episode, he found Marlena sedated in her cryogenic tube and reeled over his “Doc” discovery.
