Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Friday, November 17, reveals that Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) spoke to Gwen von Leuschner (Emily O’Brien) over the phone and admitted he needed something that only she could give him.
Gwen got updates on Chad’s desire to buy her half of The Spectator and learned Everett Lynch (Blake Berris) was mostly the reason why.
Since Gwen wasn’t happy about Everett’s rosy editorial on Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) and Dimitri von Leuschner’s (Peter Porte) love story, she decided to cave in.
Gwen urged Chad to make her an offer that wasn’t insulting and her half of The Spectator would be his.
At the pub on Friday’s Days episode, Everett pumped Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) for information on why her relationship with Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) ended.
Stephanie insisted it wasn’t that serious, but she admitted Alex had trouble letting go – and that led to problems with Chad.
Everett assumed Chad viewed him as even more of a threat since his own relationship with Stephanie had indeed been serious.
Since Everett wanted to offer an outsider’s point of view on Chad, Stephanie bet him $10 that he’d be way off base.
Everett and Stephanie both put their bills on the table before Everett offered a pretty accurate assessment of it being “the Chad show.”
From where Everett was standing, it seemed like it was all about Chad’s deceased wife and his problems with Stephanie’s exes. It was all take and no give as far as Everett was concerned.
Stephanie said Everett was wrong and snatched up the money, but deep down she looked like she agreed with him.
After Stephanie alluded to Chad’s good qualities, she suggested she only ever vented about the bad stuff.
Chad walked in and overheard part of Stephanie’s comment, so he wondered what she was venting about.
After Stephanie covered, Everett looked all smug and hoped Chad didn’t mind him stealing Stephanie away.
Although Everett added that he meant for work, it was obvious he wanted to steal Stephanie away completely.
At the Kiriakis mansion, Konstantin Meleounis (John Kapelos) warned Theresa Donovan (Emily O’Brien) that he had Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) on speed dial, so she’d better do what she was told unless she wanted Alex to find out the truth.
Theresa whacked Konstantin over the head with a fireplace poker so that he could pretend he was attacked by an intruder.
Maggie returned just as Theresa was about to bolt with the baby, so she had to be careful and make sure her face wasn’t seen.
After Maggie witnessed the kidnapper fleeing with Victoria Horton, she went into panic mode. Konstantin pretended to regain consciousness and immediately ran off to play the hero.
In the park on Friday’s DOOL show, Theresa waited on a park bench while holding Victoria.
Konstantin showed up to take the baby and pushed Theresa to punch him to help sell his story, so she socked him in the face.
At the hospital, Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) ranted at Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) for adding Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) to the list of witnesses for the custody hearing.
Sarah thought it was only fair since Xander was having Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) testify against her.
After Sarah and Xander bickered about his past crimes, Sarah took a call from Maggie and learned Victoria had been kidnapped.
Although Sarah accused Xander of setting this up, he swore he had nothing to do with it and raced off with Sarah to find their daughter. The police were also called, but they took their sweet time getting around to helping.
Back at the Kiriakis mansion on Friday’s Days episode, Maggie filled Xander and Sarah in on everything that happened. Sarah broke down crying in Xander’s arms before he promised to get Victoria back.
Just before Xander could go out and search for Victoria himself, Konstantin appeared with the baby in his arms. Sarah was grateful to Konstantin and relieved to have Sarah back home where she belonged.
Once the topic of the custody hearing came up, Sarah suggested she wasn’t up for it now and said they’d have to postpone again. Xander hinted that maybe there was another option if he dropped the custody case.
Meanwhile, Maggie expressed her gratitude to Konstantin and felt like he was an angel sent from heaven. Suddenly, Konstanin pulled Maggie into a passionate kiss!
At Titan, Brady Black showed up to accept Alex’s offer to bring Basic Black to Titan. Alex was pleased over the deal, but he pointed out that Theresa was running Bella Magazine now and hoped that wouldn’t be a problem.
Brady warned Alex about the dangers of turning your back on someone like Theresa, even for a moment. Alex defended Theresa a bit, so Brady wondered if he was in love with her or something.
Alex assured Brady that they were just friends, but he was adamant about having Theresa on his team since he needed a “take no prisoners” kind of gal.
Theresa heard her name when she arrived, but Brady acted like she would’ve heard a whole lot more if she’d walked in sooner.
However, Brady felt he could work with Theresa since he was able to co-parent a teenager with her.
Once Brady and Alex left on Friday’s Days episode, Theresa realized a phone had been left behind.
After Theresa left Konstantin a voicemail and warned him to keep her name out of it if everything blew up, Brady came back for the phone and seemingly overheard her.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Theresa will have to wiggle out of a tight spot, so stay tuned.
