Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Friday, October 20, reveals that Theresa Donovan (Emily O’Brien) showed up with a gift for Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) since he mentioned he’d been eating off paper plates.
Theresa brought Alex some real dishes, so he suggested Theresa should join him for takeout.
As they ate, Theresa talked to Alex about Titan and how he’d been adjusting to being Victor Kiriakis’ (John Aniston) son.
Once Theresa mentioned needing a place to live and complained about all the places that didn’t work out, Alex insisted she should move in with him.
Theresa pretended she hadn’t been fishing for Alex to ask her and acted like she couldn’t impose.
However, Alex didn’t mind having Theresa for a roommate since she was good company and he wasn’t crazy about living alone.
Theresa said she’d be a fool to pass up this chance if he was serious, so Alex shook with her on it. After Theresa dashed off to get her things from the Salem Inn, Alex mulled over his new roomie situation and seemed pensive.
In the town square on Friday’s Days episode, Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) prepared Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) for the possibility that Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) and Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) would play dirty in court.
Justin wanted to anticipate exactly what could be used against Sarah, so he mentioned the fact that this wasn’t the first time she’d lied about a child’s paternity.
Plus, Sarah had a history of mental issues, but she protested since those only happened because she was drugged.
Justin insisted Xander and Sloan could still use them, but Sarah doubted Xander would go that far. Nevertheless, Justin suggested that custody battles often brought out the worst in people.
At Sloan’s place on Friday’s DOOL episode, Xander arrived to discuss the case and grew concerned about how she planned to prove Sarah was an unfit mother.
Sloan insisted they had to make Sarah out to be a pathological liar who was mentally unstable. Xander kept making excuses for Sarah, so Sloan suggested he was starting to sound more like Sarah’s defense attorney at this point.
Sloan needed to know by tonight if Xander was willing to go all in and let her do whatever she had to do for full custody. If Xander couldn’t commit, Sloan said she’d give his retainer back.
Back in the town square, Xander ripped into Justin for keeping Victoria Horton’s paternity a secret. Justin acted like he was respecting Sarah’s wishes and felt that both parents should be focusing on doing what’s best for Victoria.
Xander grew angry over the confrontation, so he wound up calling Sloan and leaving her a voicemail to say he was indeed willing to go all in.
Meanwhile, Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) delivered some disappointing updates to Sloan regarding the adoption.
There was a snag since Sloan defended Colin Bedford (Jasper Newman) against his recent criminal charges, so that could be viewed as condoning his behavior.
Although this could stir up concerns about Colin’s involvement in the child’s life, Sloan protested since her brother was in prison.
Despite Sloan’s fears about the adoption falling through, Melinda assured Sloan that she’d work it all out – especially since she needed a big success in her first private practice case.
At the hospital on Friday’s Days episode, Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) was waiting to see a former parishioner who was a patient. Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) was waiting on a prescription, so she suggested they could wait together.
As Nicole quizzed Eric about how the adoption was going, she questioned why he wasn’t using a surrogate and having a baby with his DNA.
Eric acted like passing on his love was the most important thing, but he admitted there was time when he’d wanted his baby to have some Brady features.
When a nurse appeared with Nicole’s prescription, Nicole asked if she could get another hard copy of the genetic testing analysis since she misplaced her report.
The nurse assured Nicole that she could and assumed Eric was the father since he was standing there.
That brought some awkwardness as Nicole corrected the nurse, who later delivered a new copy of the DNA report as promised.
Once Eric returned home to Sloan, she lied about Melinda telling her that it was all smooth sailing with the adoption.
At the Kiriakis mansion on Friday’s Days episode, Konstantin Meleounis (John Kapelos) thanked Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) for giving him the grand tour of Salem.
Konstantin also wanted to make a big Greek feast for Maggie and dashed off to use the kitchen.
Next, Sarah complained to Maggie about Xander filing for full custody. Maggie was upset over that news, but Sarah warned her to leave it alone since any move they made could be twisted in court.
After Sarah met Konstantin and shared a meal with him along with Maggie, she seemed pleased to see her mom enjoying herself. Being close to Victor’s friend made Maggie feel close to Victor again, so Sarah understood.
Konstantin decided to take a walk after dinner, so he showed up at Theresa’s hotel room door right as she was moving out. When Theresa opened up, Konstantin smiled over his surprise.
Theresa, on the other hand, wasn’t pleased to see Konstantin, so she snapped that he was supposed to stay in Greece until he heard from her.
Konstantin’s unexpected arrival left Theresa demanding to know what he was doing there.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Theresa and Konstantin’s secret partnership will inevitably come back to bite them, so stay tuned.
