Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Friday, September 29, reveals that Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel) called someone about redecorating the Kiriakis mansion and told them to bring a dumpster for Maggie Kiriakis’ (Suzanne Rogers) stuff.
However, Maggie entered with Victor Kiriakis’ (John Aniston) new will and explained that Vivian got nothing. Vivian ripped up the document, but Maggie insisted she’d already had the original probated.
When Vivian refused to leave, Maggie called a deputy in and gleefully watched as he escorted Vivian out with an eviction notice.
At Alex Kiriakis’ (Robert Scott Wilson) apartment, he woke up hungover on the couch and complained about the knocking on his door being too loud.
Alex opened up for Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker), who revealed that their dad gave him updates on the new will and Anjelica Deveraux’s (Judith Chapman) letter.
Alex insisted Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) was only Sonny’s dad now and even called him “Cousin Justin” at one point. Sonny dished out some tough love and thought Alex’s wallowing was rather pathetic since Justin was still the man who raised him.
Alex was hung up on the biology of it all and acted like Sonny wasn’t his brother anymore, so Sonny said “screw you” and voiced his displeasure.
Nevertheless, Sonny eventually softened a bit and acknowledged that Alex was going through a lot.
Sonny just wanted Alex to understand that the love and connection in his relationships hadn’t changed.
Although Sonny urged Alex to talk to Justin and see that he was hurting too, Alex didn’t see the point.
Alex wasn’t even sure he wanted his inheritance and was stuck on Victor lying to him.
Learning that Victor was his father had changed Alex in fundamental ways and made him rethink everything.
Sonny hated to leave his family when all this drama was going on, but he had a flight to catch. After Sonny parted ways with Alex, he stopped by the Kiriakis mansion to say goodbye to Maggie as well.
Sonny was thrilled to hear that Maggie had thrown Vivian out of the house.
Vivian eventually showed up on Alex’s doorstep hoping they could team up against Maggie for Titan control, but he threw her out, too.
Once Vivian was gone, Alex mulled over her words about him being Victor’s heir and seemed deep in thought.
At the pub on Friday’s Days episode, Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) gave Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) the news about Vivian’s downfall since she’d heard about it from Bonnie Kirakis (Judi Evans).
At the DiMera mansion, Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) joined Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) as they decided today would be the day they punished Dimitri von Leuschner (Peter Porte) and Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart).
Dimitri was suspicious when he caught them conspiring on Friday’s Days episode, but Gwen claimed she was asking Kristen for help with a surprise for Dimitri.
After Dimitri left on Friday’s DOOL show, Kristen suggested a grim fate for Dimitri since Gwen would inherit all the money from the codicil.
Gwen didn’t want to do something that extreme, so she mentioned the bank account that Dimitri didn’t think she knew about – the one that he deposited his first installment check in.
Gwen planned to withdraw every penny and split the money with Kristen, so she took off to make that happen.
In his suite, Leo dreamed he found Gabi and Stefan all bloody in bed after Dimitri took them out. Once Leo woke up startled, he confronted Dimitri about his plans and begged him not to go that far.
Dimitri finally relented and hugged Leo in reassurance, but they pulled apart as Gwen appeared outside.
After Dimitri and Leo made excuses, Gwen made a big show about making out with Dimitri before leaving to run errands.
Soon after, Gwen met back up with Leo in his hotel room and offered a banana cream pie from Sweet Bits since it was his favorite.
Leo was pleased until Gwen smashed it in his face and said she knew he’d been sleeping with her husband.
Back at the DiMera mansion on Friday’s Days episode, Kristen pulled a gun on Dimitri and threatened to take him out for not paying her cut of the inheritance.
Dimitri called Kristen’s bluff and eventually took the weapon from her, so she stormed out.
When Gabi and Stefan appeared, they started hounding Dimitri about the DiMera shares they were after. Dimitri pulled the gun on Stefan and Gabi next, so they were horrified.
Stefan used himself to shield Gabi before a shot was fired, but wounded Dimitri fell to the floor. The camera panned over to reveal that Vivian had shot Dimitri to stop him from doing the same thing to Stefan.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Dimitri will have to take an emergency trip to the hospital soon, so stay tuned to DOOL.
