Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Monday, April 10, reveals that Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) got off the phone and revealed some alarming news to Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams). It turns out Joey Johnson (Tanner Stine) was in an accident, so he cracked some ribs and broke his leg badly enough to require surgery.
Tripp urged Stephanie to stick with her search for Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) and vowed to go be with their brother in Seattle.
Although Tripp had planned to go on a date with Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace), he felt confident she’d understand since Joey needed him.
Later, Wendy came home and got updates on the situation, so she assured Tripp that he could have a raincheck and kissed him goodbye for now.
At Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) townhouse on Monday’s Days episode, she greeted Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) when he showed up at the door.
Chad was relieved over Marlena’s survival and got her to tell him the whole story of what happened on the island.
Although Chad was disappointed over Kate Roberts Brady’s (Lauren Koslow) fate, he was glad she had Marlena and Kayla with her toward the end.
Chad acknowledged that Kate went out fighting and seemed pleased about that.
Once Stephanie arrived, she explained that Kayla had called her, but the connection had too much static.
Stephanie only heard something about Greece, but she hoped her subconscious mind might’ve heard more and convinced Marlena to hypnotize her.
After Marlena put Stephanie under, she helped her remember that phone call and try to block out the static.
Stephanie said she heard a name, so Chad asked who it was.
Since Stephanie struggled to grasp it, Chad feared he’d thrown her off with his question.
However, Stephanie managed to come up with the name Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) once Marlena brought her out of the trance.
In Greece, a man named Konstantin (John Kapelos) appeared with a bat and declared that he was the owner of the taverna.
Konstantin recognized Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) as an international criminal who’d been there before and remembered Hope Williams Brady (Kristian Alfonso) from her previous visit there as well.
Although Konstantin threatened Harris, Hope promised she was fine and showed him a news story about Harris being cleared of all charges.
Konstantin was apologetic and answered some questions, but he hadn’t seen Kayla and it had been years since he’d seen Thomas Banks (Eileen Davidson).
Since Konstantin couldn’t help with the investigation, he insisted on providing Hope and Harris with a nice meal.
That led to Hope getting up and joining a Greek dance, so she broke some plates and eventually dragged Harris over to join her.
Harris and Hope wound up sharing a romantic moment in the midst of all the fun.
Next on Monday’s Days episode, Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) hugged Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) and wondered how it was possible that he was alive.
Bo acted like he didn’t have time to offer details and claimed to be working undercover for the ISA.
After Steve said Kayla had been kidnapped, Bo admitted that he was responsible.
Steve was confused and could tell Bo wasn’t acting like himself, but Bo ultimately got fed up and threatened him with a knife.
Although Steve didn’t think Bo would hurt him, Bo shoved him against the wall and threatened to take his other eye.
Once Bo jabbed the knife into the wall instead, he pulled a gun on Steve and whacked him in the head with it.
Steve lost consciousness, so Bo told the police officer that Steve was a con artist.
Bo managed to leave with the prisms from Dr. Wilhelm Rolf’s (Richard Wharton) hotel room along with Steve as his new hostage.
In the wine cellar on Monday’s DOOL show, Kayla realized there was a letter from Victor to Caroline Brady (Peggy McCay) that was marked return to sender.
That letter talked about Victor’s great love for Caroline and how he often dreamed of having a child together.
Victor didn’t want to jeopardize Caroline’s life with her family, but he hoped she might come to Greece so they could have their own little paradise at the villa for a while.
Once Bo came back on Monday’s Days episode, he handed over the prisms and threw Steve in the cellar, too.
Steve had a gash on his forehead, but he regained consciousness and spoke to his relieved “Sweetness” as she rushed to his side.
