Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Monday, December 11, reveals that Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) stopped by to see Abe Carver (James Reynolds), who admitted he could see why he fell in love with Paulina Price (Jackée Harry).
Although Abe still couldn’t remember their past together, Kate acted like a blank slate could be a good thing and reflected on her history of mistakes.
Regardless, Kate felt confident that Paulina could make Abe fall in love all over again and advised Abe to take things one day at a time.
In the town square on Monday’s Days episode, Paulina ran into Melinda Trask (Tina Huang), so they pushed each other’s buttons.
Melinda also mentioned that she was becoming a successful adoption attorney and offered updates on her latest case.
Paulina knew Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) would be a good father, but she pitied the child who would have Sloan Petersen-Brady (Jessica Serfaty) for a mother.
Afterward, Paulina stopped by to see Abe since she saw a suit that he’d look snazzy in while Christmas shopping.
Paulina showed Abe the bracelet he gave her last year, but he didn’t remember giving it to her.
Even so, Abe shared some nice moments with Paulina, who invited him over to her place to celebrate Christmas.
At Statesville on Monday’s Days episode, Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) ripped into Dimitri von Leuscher (Peter Porte) for kidnapping Kate, but Dimitri acted like she was fine and that the story had a happy ending.
Lucas wished he’d been there when the cops busted Dimitri, who corrected him since he actually turned himself in out of love for Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart).
After Lucas badmouthed Leo, he mentioned Dimitri slamming into Nicole Walker-DiMera (Arianne Zucker) and causing the demise of her newborn baby.
Dimitri angrily insisted that Lucas didn’t know what he was talking about and manhandled him a bit.
Once Kate arrived and broke up the fight, Dimitri made himself scarce.
Kate was concerned about Dimitri posing a threat, but Lucas downplayed that idea and hinted about getting him a job chopping fish in the kitchen.
At the DiMera mansion on Monday’s Days episode, Nicole tried to turn Leo away at the door. Since Nicole believed her son was gone forever, she didn’t think they had anything to talk about.
Leo urged Nicole to consider the possibility that wasn’t true, but EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) eventually appeared and ordered Leo to leave.
Once Nicole went for a walk to clear her head, Leo snuck in the DiMera tunnels and once again tried to tell EJ that the baby was alive. EJ kept cutting Leo off and finally decked him to get his point across!
At home on Monday’s DOOL show, Eric was confused over the attorney’s voicemail about the adoption falling through and decided to call him.
Sloan stopped Eric and admitted she hadn’t been entirely honest about the adoption process.
That led to Sloan confessing that the first adoption didn’t pan out because of her reputation, so Melinda found them another baby.
Eric assured Sloan that she was a great mom and didn’t think she should listen to the naysayers.
In the park, Eric had Jude Brady out for a stroll when he crossed paths with Nicole.
Although Eric started to bolt, Nicole suggested he didn’t have to run whenever he saw her since she accepted the DNA test results.
After Nicole joined Eric on a bench, she tearfully talked about how she couldn’t go through this pain again – and that meant she wouldn’t try again for another child.
Nicole also mentioned Leo’s visit and how he implied that her baby could be brought back, so she seemed puzzled over his actions.
Once Jude woke up from his nap, Eric decided it was time to go – but he let Nicole know she could call him anytime before he left.
Later, EJ showed up and comforted Nicole as they sat on the bench together.
Back at Sloan’s place, she spoke to Melinda about the DNA test drama and all the other snags that had been happening.
Sloan was especially nervous about Dimitri and wished they could put a muzzle on him for good.
Melinda suggested that due to Dimitri’s previous crimes and how severe they were, he could be transferred to a supermax prison where he wouldn’t be allowed visitors.
After Melinda promised to make a call and arrange for it, Sloan expressed her gratitude over the good news.
Once Melinda exited, Sloan tried to tell herself that she could enjoy her perfect family, but then Leo arrived at the door and said they needed to talk.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Leo will prove to be a major problem for Sloan, so don’t miss what’s ahead in Salem.
