Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Monday, February 27, reveals that Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) ran into Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) as he was leaving his room. Although Roman wanted to see if the source of the flickering lights was upstairs, Eric kept him away from Dr. Wilhelm Rolf’s (Richard Wharton) procedure and suggested checking the circuit breaker.
Downstairs at the pub, Roman hinted that Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) might be behind all the flickering since she’d been talking to him through the urn.
Eric was skeptical before the conversation shifted to the orchid clue that Orpheus (George DelHoyo) offered.
Since Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) was living at the DiMera mansion, Roman thought Eric could reach out and see what she knew.
Eric wasn’t into the idea since there was still so much tension, but Roman thought there was a reason Eric and Nicole pushed each other’s buttons.
Roman didn’t want Eric to look back on wasted time and thought he should fight for Nicole, but Eric brushed off the advice and went for a run.
In the town square on Monday’s Days episode, Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) talked to Abe Carver (James Reynolds) about the orchid thief being a mystery DiMera.
When Nicole appeared, she accepted Abe and Paulina’s offer to join them for a meal.
After discussing all the funerals, Nicole admitted she had a complicated relationship with Kate and flashed back to fighting with her.
Nicole also confessed that Kate paid her $5 million to ditch Eric and marry Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) once upon a time.
Once Nicole reflected on what a mistake that had been, she flashed back to meeting Eric for the first time 25 years ago.
Nicole talked about how Eric got her a modeling job and had another flashback of him making steamy photos of her on the beach.
Next on Monday’s DOOL show, Nicole recalled Eric returning to Salem as a priest before they found their way back to each other.
There were more romantic memories, but Nicole felt Eric had moved on with Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) and resolved to move on as well.
Once Nicole wound up in the park alone, she recalled marrying Eric before he showed up on his run and locked eyes with her.
At the DiMera mansion on Monday’s Days episode, Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) pointed out that Megan Hathaway (Miranda Wilson) was dead, but Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and John Black (Drake Hogestyn) insisted she was back.
Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo) kept Megan in a cryogenic state until she could be healed.
There was proof of Megan’s survival since she brainwashed John and Steve into helping her steal the prism during all the Hong Song drama beyond Salem.
Now that Megan had all three prisms, the ISA was looking for her and had forced Steve as well as John to stay quiet.
However, John and Steve were ready to spill now that Megan was likely the orchid thief to blame for Kate, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and Kayla Johnson’s (Mary Beth Evans) deaths.
Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley) remembered that Stefano kept a box of Megan’s belongings, so Tony decided to find it and see if it could help with the search for his sister.
Soon after, Tony and Anna reflected on the healing nature of the prisms, which once cured Stefano’s brain tumor.
Anna wondered if Megan was trying to raise Stefano from the dead or if perhaps she already had!
Tony didn’t think so since Dr. Rolf uploaded Stefano’s memories onto a microchip that was implanted in Steve – and he wouldn’t have done that if Stefano were still alive.
That left Anna curious about who Megan might be trying to heal instead.
Back at the pub on Monday’s Days episode, Steve and John returned to talk to Roman about all their Megan suspicions.
In a DiMera Enterprises lab, Megan gave Marlena, Kayla and Kate injections to perk them up as they emerged from their cryogenic chambers.
The women fully regained consciousness and learned how Megan had faked their deaths using something in their IVs and lookalikes in the graves.
Of course, Kate’s demise was even easier to fake since she wanted to be cremated.
Marlena and Kayla assumed this had something to do with the prisms, so they gave Kate the news about all their Beyond Salem drama with Megan.
Although the women wanted to know about Megan’s plans for them, she kept things vague and decided it was time for another nap.
Megan gave the women an injection to knock them out since they’d need their strength for what was coming.
After Megan said phase two would begin shortly, she approached an upright cryogenic chamber in another room and stroked it tenderly.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Megan will tie in with Bo Brady’s (Peter Reckell) big comeback, so stay tuned for updates on his return!
