Days of Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Monday, June 26, reveals that Megan DiMera (Miranda Wilson) talked to Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) over the phone and reassured him about the captives in the basement.
Megan mentioned that EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) was on a fake business trip, so she was handling things by texting from his phone.
As for Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk), Rachel Black (Finley Rose Slater) was the only one looking for her.
Megan said she was keeping Kristen’s phone in a drawer and got updates on Dr. Wilhelm Rolf’s (Richard Wharton) imminent arrival.
That left Megan eager to get Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) brainwashed so he could do away with Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) permanently.
Megan hinted about a big surprise for Stefan, who overheard her and wondered what she was talking about.
However, Megan covered by acting like she just meant the surprise party happening tomorrow night.
Since Stefan knew the date now, Megan suggested she’d have to find another way to surprise him.
Stefan mentioned EJ being out of town, but Megan acted like they didn’t want him at the party anyway. Megan also lied about Kristen being in New York to look for custody lawyers.
Stefan noticed the tray of leftover food that Megan had taken down to her hostages earlier, but she claimed it was from her own breakfast with Dimitri von Leuschner (Peter Porte).
After Megan exited on Monday’s Days episode, Stefan called Kristen’s phone and found it ringing in a nearby drawer.
That left Stefan puzzled over why Kristen would leave without her phone and suspicious of what might be down in the secret room.
Once Harris met with Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) at the pub, he let her know that he put a tracking device on Megan’s car so he could snatch her once she left the house.
At Whitley King’s (Kim Coles) apartment on Monday’s DOOL show, Jerry Prentiss (Terrell Ransom Jr.) struggled to calm Abe Carver (James Reynolds) down. Thanks to Abe’s memory, he insisted Jerry wasn’t his son.
Jerry stepped outside to text Whitley an emergency text message and hoped she could come back to fix this mess.
At the Salem PD on Monday’s Days episode, Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) was curious about Whitley leaving the hospital early the day Abe disappeared, so he hoped she was considered a suspect.
After Eli let Whitley go home to her fake sick cat, he looked into Whitley’s background and found that she was a widow with no criminal record.
Eli just didn’t see any red flags that would indicate she’d be involved.
When Whitley came home, she told Abe that the memory he had was of his other son, Brandon Walker (Matt Cedeño).
Whitley claimed that Abe had a falling out with Brandon and that the last time they’d seen each other was at the wedding.
Once Abe apologized to “Theo,” Whitley sent Jerry off to rest following his fake flight. That gave Whitley a chance to take a blood sample from Abe under the guise of the hospital wanting to follow up.
At Jada Hunter’s (Elia Cantu) apartment, she was thrilled over Rafe Hernandez’s (Galen Gering) news about Talia Hunter (Aketra Sevillian) hopefully not having to serve prison time.
Once Rafe kissed Jada, she made it clear that she wanted this, too. Jada mentioned Kate’s advice about what they do in their private time not being anyone else’s business.
Rafe wanted a chance to see where things might lead with Jada, so she dropped her towel and went to bed with him.
Down by the docks, Dr. Rolf wiped himself off after getting off a submarine and got reassurance from Li that he’d have all the proper tools for Harris’ brainwashing, including plutonium.
Back with Whitley, she gave Jerry some money for his next task and handed over the blood sample from earlier.
While armed Harris ambushed Megan in the park, Kate ran into Jada and wondered if she’d taken her advice about Rafe.
Jada’s smile seemingly confirmed everything Kate needed to know!
In the town square on Monday’s Days episode, Theo spoke to Brandon about Abe’s case over the phone.
Back down by the docks, Jerry gave Rafe and Eli a bogus story about seeing a man stumble into the water after hitting a pylon.
Eli found blood that Whitley had obviously planted – plus, Abe’s hospital bracelet was discarded nearby.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Whitley will successfully make it look like Abe is gone forever, but the truth will come out soon enough.
