Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Monday, March 27, reveals that Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) hugged Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) and got emotional over his miraculous return from the dead. Since Megan Hathaway (Miranda Wilson) was starting to regain consciousness, Bo insisted they’d better get out of there.
Bo led Kayla outside, but she insisted they couldn’t leave without Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall).
However, Bo argued that he didn’t care about Marlena and eventually admitted he shot Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow).
Bo also made it clear that he didn’t care about Roman Brady’s (Josh Taylor) feelings on that, so Kayla realized her brother had been brainwashed.
Although Kayla tried to convince Bo that he had to get back to the real him, Bo didn’t want that.
Although Bo was taken aback to learn he had a grandson that was his namesake, he stood his ground when it came to forging a new path.
Kayla vowed to stay behind and help Marlena, but Bo pulled his gun on his sister and forced her to cooperate.
That led to Kayla joining Bo as they escaped off the island in Monday’s Days episode.
Meanwhile, Megan woke up and found herself facing Steve Johnson’s (Stephen Nichols) gun.
Steve accused Megan of being a murderer, but Megan insisted Kayla was alive.
Since Steve didn’t believe Megan, she suggested he should come with her and see for himself.
In the lab on Monday’s Days episode, John Black (Drake Hogestyn) hit an alarm button that opened Marlena’s cryogenic chamber.
After realizing that Marlena was still breathing, John ordered Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) to wake her up.
Dr. Rolf gave Marlena a drug to get the job done and assured John that it would help instead of hurt her.
Once Marlena opened her eyes, Dr. Rolf managed to slip out while John was distracted.
Marlena and John had an emotional reunion before Steve entered holding Megan at gunpoint.
Once Steve saw that Marlena was alive, he realized Megan was telling the truth about Kayla.
Unfortunately, Megan no longer knew where Kayla was, so Steve went off searching for Kayla elsewhere on the island.
Once Steve spotted some footprints in the sand, he also found Kayla’s anchor necklace and clutched it.
Steve vowed to find Kayla as he dashed off to continue his search.
Back in Salem on Monday’s DOOL show, Roman talked to Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) about his plan to scatter Kate’s ashes on the Emerald Isle.
Some of Kate’s kids were coming to help Roman say goodbye.
Although Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) wished he could come, he understood that Roman couldn’t wait.
Roman didn’t want to drag that urn around with him everywhere like Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley) had done before realizing Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) was alive.
Despite how badly Roman wished Kate could still be alive too, he didn’t think that was possible.
At the ISA facility in Maryland, Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) lashed out over Hope Williams Brady’s (Kristian Alfonso) kiss with Harris Michaels (Steve Burton), who had tried to kill all of them in Montreal.
After Ciara explained how Andrew Donovan (Colton Little) gave her security clearance to get in there, she complained about Hope thinking Harris had changed.
Hope assured Ciara that Harris agreed to a risky shock therapy that nearly killed him.
Ciara was skeptical of the deprogramming, but Hope insisted that Harris had already given up what they believed to be Megan’s location.
After Ciara was reminded of Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and the second chance he got, Hope pushed her daughter to give Harris one, too.
Ciara softened on Monday’s Days episode and ultimately gave Hope the news that she was having another baby, so her mom was overjoyed.
Hope wanted to meet up for dinner while they were all in the same spot, so Ciara offered an olive branch by assuming Harris would be there, too.
Harris said he’d come if that’s what Hope wanted, so she smiled and said she’d like that.
