Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Monday, September 25, reveals that Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) talked to Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) about Victoria Horton’s birth and grumbled since Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) was the one who offered the info – not Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder).
Since Rex had been acting weird about his relationship with Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey), Kate couldn’t shake the feeling that something was off.
In the town square on Monday’s Days episode, Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) listened as Rex explained Sarah’s reasons for lying to Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) about Victoria’s paternity.
Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) swore that he’d keep the secret, which Rex appreciated – especially since the truth might clear a path for Philip to get back together with Chloe.
However, Philip insisted that ship had sailed and eventually agreed to officiate Rex’s imminent wedding to Sarah at the pub.
After Chloe eavesdropped on the paternity shocker, she dashed off while Xander visited Sarah’s room and informed her that he was going to marry Chloe in New York today.
Sarah assured Xander that he’d be a good stepdad to Parker Jonas (last played by Christian Ganiere) and offered her own news about marrying Rex at the pub today.
Xander and Sarah wished each other well before he met back up with Chloe at home.
Once Xander made a big speech about how he wanted to be a man who deserved Chloe, she broke down in tears and admitted she couldn’t marry him because of Sarah.
Xander insisted they’d been over this, but Chloe clarified it was because Xander was the true father of Sarah’s baby!
At Titan on Monday’s DOOL show, Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) refused to work for the enemy and firmly shut down Vivian Alamain’s (Louise Sorel) job offer.
Meanwhile, Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) helped Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) go over Victor Kiriakis’ (John Aniston) new will, which said that Victor uncovered the clerical error regarding his divorce from Vivian in the process of drawing up the new document.
Victor had planned to rectify the mistake and marry Maggie when he returned to Salem, but he obviously never got the chance.
Nevertheless, Victor did make sure Maggie got 50 percent of his estate while the other half was offered to a previously unacknowledged son as a way to make amends.
There was a letter from the mother of this child to Victor, which talked about how it would hurt a man they both cared about if the truth about the baby’s father came out. The lie would be discovered and the duped dad would feel betrayed by his own flesh and blood.
The letter eventually mentioned “little Alexander” and was signed “Love, Anjelica,” so Justin was shocked over the realization that he wasn’t Alex’s bio dad.
While Justin was trying to process all the updates with Maggie on Monday’s Days episode, Alex walked in.
Back at the pub on Monday’s Days episode, Philip mentioned to Roman and Kate that Vivian had offered him a job at Titan. That sent Kate over to confront Vivian, who offered her the job instead.
Although Vivian tried to convince Kate that they could put their past feud aside, Kate made it clear that Vivian was delusional if she thought that’d actually happen.
Even so, Vivian acted like no one could stand in the way of her control over the Titan empire.
At the pub again, Rex brought Sarah and Victoria there following Sarah’s release from the hospital.
That gave Roman a chance to meet Victoria and reveal that Kate was ticked off at Rex for not sharing the news about the baby sooner.
