Days of Our Lives Recap: Thursday, December 28 – Leo Asks Johnny on Date – Steve Kidnaps Konstantin – John’s Mystery Clue

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Thursday, December 28, reveals that Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) interrupted Sloan Petersen-Brady’s (Jessica Serfaty) and Eric Brady’s (Greg Vaughan) family time in the town square, where they had Jude Brady in a stroller.

Leo insisted on speaking with his lawyer on Thursday’s Days episode, so Eric took Sloan’s credit card and headed off to buy some snacks.

That gave Leo a chance to show off his new clothes and talk about all the other expensive things Sloan would provide along with a new house.

Sloan ranted about Leo racking up credit card debt and wondered if his plan was to bankrupt her.

Since Sloan was still paying off law school loans, she warned that she wasn’t a rich woman.

Leo made it clear that Sloan would pay up unless she wanted him to spill her secret.

However, Leo did admit he planned to get his “Lady Whistleblower” column back and supplement his income.

That way, Leo would have an audience and a way to blow up any secrets that needed to be exposed.

Once Leo left on Thursday’s Days episode, Eric brought back some granola bars for Sloan and admitted her credit card had been declined.

Sloan suggested that was weird and acted like she was puzzled over the news.

Afterward, Leo appeared with tons of shopping bags and looked forward to yet another shopping spree soon.

At one point, Leo saw Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) in the town square and asked him on a date for New Year’s Eve.

Since Johnny’s twin sister, Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold), was bi, Leo thought there was a good possibility Johnny was, too.

Johnny insisted he wasn’t and argued that even if he were bi, Leo was the last man he’d ever want to go out with.

Besides, Johnny was spoken for, so he shut Leo down and took off.

At the hospital, Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) was eager to get all this health stuff squared away so she could get back to her usual life and mayoral duties.

Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) urged Paulina to listen to Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans), who explained the upcoming biopsy process and then revealed some test results from Christmas Eve.

Paulina’s thyroid hormone level was low and she had some anti-thyroid hormone levels in her blood.

Although it looked like Paulina had Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, it was possible that thyroid cancer cells could coexist with that condition.

Paulina didn’t think the biopsy was necessary, but Kayla wanted to rule out cancer before she made her diagnosis.

Chanel pushed Paulina to do this for her and get some peace of mind, so Paulina agreed to the biopsy.

Later, Johnny brought Paulina and Chanel some baked goods in the waiting area.

That gave Chanel a chance to mention that Johnny was a cancer survivor and highlight the importance of detecting it early.

Paulina assured Chanel that she didn’t have to worry about losing her and added that she wouldn’t go gentle into that good night.

Once Paulina had the biopsy done on Thursday’s Days episode, Kayla put a rush on the results and revealed they were suspicious.

The pathology report showed some similarities to cancer cells, but more tests were needed to be sure.

Paulina insisted that she’d deal with whatever results she received and called herself a warrior.

In Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) office, Nicole Walker-DiMera (Arianne Zucker) showed up for therapy before wondering if this was really a good idea.

Nicole addressed the elephant in the room since Marlena was Eric’s mother, but she knew Marlena was the best and could be impartial.

After Nicole turned down Marlena’s offer of another therapist, she ultimately opened up about the loss of her newborn son.

It was tough for Nicole since she had the desire to hold, nurse and love her baby.

Nicole confessed that she considered getting an abortion when she first learned she was pregnant.

Since there was a chance the baby might be Eric’s, that played a role in Nicole’s decision to move forward with the pregnancy.

Nicole also tearfully admitted she was disappointed when the baby wasn’t Eric’s since she thought it would’ve been a sign that they were meant to be together.

That said, Nicole talked about how much had changed and how supportive EJ had been. EJ and Nicole had grown closer over the loss, so Nicole seemed grateful to have him to lean on.

Nicole knew Eric was building a life with Sloan and acknowledged that she was building one with EJ, too.

After Nicole was all cried out from the session, she decided she’d like to keep coming to therapy and left Marlena pleased.

In the park, Konstantin Meleounis (John Kapelos) hobbled over to a bench using a cane.

Someone wearing a leather jacket ambushed Konstantin from behind and injected him with something before putting a bag over his head.

In a dark basement, Konstantin’s kidnappers were revealed. Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) was there along with John Black (Drake Hogestyn), who watched Steve interrogate Konstantin nearby.

After Steve pointed out that Konstantin was supposed to have left town by now, he warned Konstain to leave the country.

Konstantin ranted about all the harassment and made it clear that he wasn’t going anywhere. As for Steve, Konstantin said he could “go to hell!”

Steve warned that they had ISA connections and could force Konstantin to leave, so they gave him a week to get out of town.

John helped lead Konstantin out and locked eyes with the hostage, so Konstantin mulled over how familiar those eyes were and wondered if it could really be him.

It’s clear that Konstantin had a flash of recognition that could lead to big trouble on DOOL, so stay tuned for updates on what’s ahead for John.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say Konstantin could use what he remembers to fight back, so stay tuned to DOOL.
