Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Thursday, December 7, reveals that Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) was a little uncomfortable doing the walk of shame every time he left Jada Hunter’s (Elia Cantu) apartment, so he suggested she could move in with him.
Now that Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) was gone, Rafe’s house was too empty. Rafe liked the idea of living with Jada, but she admitted she wasn’t there yet since living with someone was a big deal to her.
Jada reflected on living with her ex-husband and told the sweet story of how he proposed. Although Jada thought that marriage would last forever, it obviously didn’t work out.
Rafe assured Jada that she didn’t have to answer him about living together anytime soon and dashed off to shower.
Once Jada was alone, she snapped some pics of her Christmas tree before scrolling to an old photo from the night she got engaged.
DOOL viewers could see Jada in her cop uniform showing off the ring – and Everett Lynch (Blake Berris) was standing in the pic next to her.
In the town square, Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) got Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) to admit he bought Gwen von Leuschner’s (Emily O’Brien) half of The Spectator and fired Everett. Chad insisted he did it for them and acted like they didn’t need Everett as an interloper on top of their other problems.
Stephanie accused Chad of not trusting her, but Chad said it was Everett that he didn’t trust. Stephanie basically acted like this was the Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) situation all over again.
The fight led to Stephanie blurting out that Everett wanted to marry her, so she recapped how she found the ring and learned he was going to propose before the accident.
Stephanie eventually stomped off, so Chad visited Everett’s room and offered to reinstate him at The Spectator. In return, Chad just wanted to an honest answer about whether Everett was in town to get Stephanie back.
Everett admitted that he was and said he still loved Stephanie, so Chad thanked him for his honesty and bolted. Once Everett was alone, he hoped he’d still have a chance to put an engagement ring on Stephanie’s finger.
Outside the pub on Thursday’s Days episode, Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) ran into Konstantin Meleounis (John Kapelos) and learned he couldn’t go back to Greece. Konstantin suggested he’d like to elaborate over a cup of coffee and got Maggie to go inside with him.
That led to Konstantin and Maggie interrupting Theresa Donovan’s (Emily O’Brien) date with Alex, who scrambled to pay the tab and get them out of there.
Konstantin stopped Alex and Theresa before they could leave since he wanted to apologize to Theresa for his gold digger accusations, so Theresa claimed she accepted the apology.
At home later, Theresa doubted that apology was sincere, but she tried to backtrack when Alex suggested he should keep a close eye on Konstantin for Maggie’s sake.
Theresa suggested maybe she was overreacting, but Alex worried about Maggie getting taken advantage of and felt that going after someone’s money was low.
After Alex and Theresa hooked up on the sofa, Alex gathered up the trash to put in the incinerator. As Alex stepped out of the apartment, Theresa smacked his backside and told him to hurry back.
Once Theresa was alone, she seemed cold and put on the black hoodie that she’d kidnapped Victoria Cook in.
Meanwhile, Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) gave John Black (Drake Hogestyn) updates on everything Konstantin told Maggie, including his wild story about the Greek mafia going after the baby.
John and Steve felt that the quickest way to expose Konstantin was to prove he set up the kidnapping.
That meant proving Konstantin’s accomplice was connected to him, so Steve and John found security footage from the area and got a grainy shot of the hoodie-wearing kidnapper holding the baby.
John and Steve couldn’t tell who the person was due to the low quality of the footage, so Steve sent it to Shane Donovan (Charles Shaughnessy) and hoped he could use better technology to identify Konstantin’s accomplice.
Back at the pub on Thursday’s Days episode, John noticed Konstantin sitting at a table with Maggie as he walked in.
As for Konstantin, he told Maggie that he couldn’t go back to Greece because the mafia there had forbidden it.
Although Konstantin was paying off his debt with Maggie’s money, he claimed he’d been warned never to go back to Greece or he’d end up deceased.
Konstantin acted like he’d figure something out, but he admitted his visa wouldn’t allow him to stay much longer.
Maggie wondered if Konstantin could extend it, so Konstantin rattled off a few ways that’d be possible – including if he married a U.S. citizen.
Back with Alex on Thursday’s Days episode, he ran into Chad in the hallway and said he saw Stephanie earlier. Alex pulled out Stephanie’s key and added that she said to give it to Chad.
Finally, Stephanie showed up on Steve’s doorstep with a suitcase and admitted she’d moved out of the place she got with Chad. Stephanie hoped she could stay with Steve and Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) for a while, so Steve looked concerned over his daughter’s news.
