Days of Our Lives Recap: Thursday, November 16 – Konstantin’s Stolen Baby Scheme – Sarah’s Alarm Bells – Maggie Snaps

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Thursday, November 16, reveals that Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) ran into Konstantin Meleounis (John Kapelos) and called him out for lying about the tablecloth coming from Victor Kiriakis’ (John Aniston) old villa in Greece.

Konstantin admitted he told a white lie to comfort Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) on her anniversary and asked Steve not to tell her the truth.

Steve agreed not to since he didn’t want to hurt Maggie, but he made it clear that he wouldn’t stand for Konstantin taking advantage of Maggie.

Konstantin insisted he wouldn’t dream of it and acted like Maggie was lucky to have good friends who look out for her like Steve.

Afterward, Steve gave John Black (Drake Hogestyn) updates on shady Konstantin at the townhouse, where John played devil’s advocate and considered the idea that Konstantin really did want to comfort Maggie.

Steve thought this seemed like a classic grifter scenario of Konstantin preying on lonely widow Maggie for her fortune.

John eventually hinted that maybe they could get help from Victor and then clarified that he meant a trip to dig around in Greece.

At the Kiriakis mansion on Thursday’s Days episode, Sarah expressed concern to Maggie about Konstantin’s gifts and felt he might have an agenda. Konstantin eavesdropped briefly before stomping off and heading off to find Theresa Donovan (Emily O’Brien).

Meanwhile, Maggie defended Konstantin and made it clear that he was welcome to stick around since he was Victor’s friend.

Although Sarah warned Maggie to be careful and shrewd like Victor, Maggie urged her daughter to mind her own business!

Sarah apologized for overstepping, so Maggie was sorry if she sounded too harsh. Since Sarah needed to take off for an early shift at the hospital, Maggie agreed to watch Victoria Horton for her.

At home on Thursday’s DOOL show, Theresa admired Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) as he worked out and then discussed his recent job offer.

Although Theresa was interested in running Bella Magazine again, she pointed out things could get messy since they’d be living together and working together.

Theresa and Alex were just roommates for now, but they flirted and acknowledged that they were both open to their relationship evolving.

Alex felt confident they could figure it all out, so he hugged Theresa after she accepted the position.

Once Alex was gone, Konstantin showed up to see Theresa and mentioned his mission to go after Maggie’s fortune.

Theresa refused to let Konstantin take advantage of Maggie since she was good to Theresa when she had a drug problem.

Konstantin acted like it wasn’t Theresa’s call since he could blow the whistle on her deception regarding who Victor’s secret son really was.

Since Konstantin needed a way to win Sarah’s trust and keep Maggie’s, he warned that Theresa would have to help him with his plan.

Back at the Kiriakis mansion, Konstantin gave Maggie some flowers for Victor and encouraged her to visit the mausoleum.

Maggie pointed out she was on babysitting duty, but Konstantin said he’d watch over Victoria while she was gone.

After Maggie stepped out, Theresa appeared wearing a dark hoodie and was unsure about Konstantin’s scheme. Nevertheless, Konstantin insisted that Theresa made her bed and ordered her to take the baby!

At The Spectator, Everett Lynch (Blake Berris) looked at his recently published Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) editorial and got praise from Xander Cook (Paul Telfer). Everett also contemplated texting Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) before deciding against it.

At the pub on Thursday’s Days episode, there was plenty of tension between Stephanie and Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn).

Things went from bad to worse when Chad saw Everett’s Leo editorial online and wondered what idiot would give him that idea.

Stephanie insisted she was that idiot, so Chad had to backpedal a bit. Although Stephanie accused Chad of being jealous, he felt like maybe she wanted him to be.

Stephanie told Chad that she wasn’t trying to force him to propose and that she wanted someone who truly wanted to be with her.

Chad tried to assure Stephanie of his love, but there was still a tense vibe before he left.

Later, Everett praised Stephanie’s PR strategy as brilliant, so she was glad someone thought so.

Although Everett realized there was more drama in Stephanie’s relationship with Chad, she didn’t seem eager to talk about it.

After Alex arrived and discussed Theresa with Stephanie, Everett recognized the name of Stephanie’s cousin and exchanged introductions with Alex.

Alex wondered how Everett knew about Theresa, so it led to Alex getting the news about Everett being Stephanie’s ex.

Since Alex assumed this was the guy who ghosted Stephanie, Everett told his coma story to clear things up.

On the way out, Alex said he spoke from personal experience and warned Everett that Chad didn’t like Stephanie spending too much time with her ex.

Once Stephanie was alone with Everett, she confirmed that Alex was her former flame, too.

At The Spectator on Thursday’s Days episode, Chad cornered Xander with an offer for his half of the newspaper.

Although Chad acted like this was about protecting Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) legacy for her children, Xander didn’t buy it and thought this was actually about Everett.

Xander also wondered if Chad would keep Everett on if he accepted the offer since he promised to give the guy a fair shake.

Chad acted like his motives and plans shouldn’t matter since he was giving Xander such a great deal.

Although Chad handed over his offer, Xander didn’t care what it was and refused to accept it since he needed this Salem institution to bolster his custody chances.

At the hospital, Xander confronted Sarah over something he felt she was up to, so they both looked ready to face off.

Back with Chad, he called someone and realized he was probably the last person they expected to hear from.

Chad added that he needed this person’s help and prepared to move forward with his plot.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say it’ll turn out to be Gwen von Leuschner (Emily O’Brien) on the other end of the line, so don’t miss Chad’s attempt to sway her.
