Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Tuesday, April 4, reveals that Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) once again scolded Rachel Black (Finley Rose Slater) for skipping school and taking an Uber to Statesville without his knowledge.
Brady wasn’t sure he should be rewarding Rachel with ice cream sundaes at the pub, but he admitted they had some news to celebrate.
As Brady revealed Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) was alive, Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) showed up and overheard.
Rachel wasn’t happy about the hug Brady and Chloe shared – nor did she want Chloe to join their ice cream celebration.
After Rachel said she’d share with Chloe over her dead body, Brady reminded her that she promised to give Chloe a chance.
Rachel complained about Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) only writing the letter because Brady made her, so he seemed annoyed and asked if Kristen told her.
Once Rachel said no, she added that Brady just did!
Chloe tried to give Rachel some stickers as a peace offering on Tuesday’s Days episode, but Rachel crumpled them and threw them across the table.
Although Chloe said she loved Rachel and wanted to be close again, Rachel didn’t believe her.
As Rachel pushed Chloe to admit she hated her just as much, things took a shocking turn.
“Fine! You’re right! I do hate you!” Chloe snapped – though she quickly apologized and insisted she didn’t mean to say that.
Once Brady decided it was time to take Rachel home, Rachel smirked at Chloe like she knew exactly what she was doing.
Brady tried to defend Chloe after he took Rachel back to the townhouse, but Rachel was irritated and wondered why he wasn’t mad at Chloe for hating her.
Next on Tuesday’s DOOL show, Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) interrupted Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) and Alex Kiriakis’ (Robert Scott Wilson) time in bed together, so they lashed out since he hadn’t knocked.
Leo insisted this was important since it was about Xander Cook (Paul Telfer), so Alex got dressed and left the two of them to talk.
Once Leo said he thought Xander was hooking up with Chloe, he showed Gwen the pictures of their warm embrace.
Gwen acted like the hug could be a platonic gesture of gratitude, but it looked pretty intimate to Leo.
Since Leo’s deadline was rapidly approaching, he was eager to run this Chloe and Xander story.
Gwen argued that she didn’t want Chloe suing them and pushed Leo to find something else.
In the town square on Tuesday’s Days episode, Xander overheard Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) making a cardiologist appointment and hoped everything was OK.
Chanel explained that Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) thought she was having a heart attack that turned out to be a panic attack instead.
Once Chanel ranted about Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) and Paulina’s skyrocketing stress levels, talk turned to failed relationships.
Xander was appalled to learn Alex slept with Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) before she left town.
Chanel admitted she also slept with Alex at one point, so Xander was furious over all Alex’s conquests – especially Gwen since Alex was taking advantage of her in Xander’s eyes.
When Alex appeared to gloat about sleeping with Gwen three times today, Xander threatened to give him another black eye.
Chanel shut down the fight and made it clear that Gwen was the one in charge of her own love life.
At Sloan’s apartment, she asked if Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) had been drinking, but he was adamant that he was sober and that Marlena was really alive.
When Paulina arrived at the door, she showed Sloan the threatening note that she found in her office.
Sloan denied leaving it there – just like she denied breaking in Paulina’s office in the first place.
Eric defended Sloan, so Paulina thought Marlena would be rolling over in her grave if she could hear him now.
However, Eric gave Paulina updates on Marlena’s survival, so Paulina reeled over yet another Salemite coming back from the dead and praised the Lord.
After Paulina quoted the note and warned Sloan that this wasn’t over, she headed for the town square.
Xander and Alex took off after Paulina waltzed over, so she showed Chanel the threatening note and mentioned her showdown with Sloan.
Chanel insisted Paulina didn’t need to be confronting Sloan right now and forced her to head to her cardiologist appointment at 3:30 p.m.
Later, Chanel showed up at Leo’s hotel room door and said she had a scoop for Lady Whistleblower. Leo seemed intrigued as Chanel handed over an envelope.
Back with Sloan, she sensed that Eric had doubts about her innocence despite his defense of her.
Sloan assured Eric that her revenge plans wouldn’t involve an anonymous note and that her enemies would know when she came for them.
After Sloan mentioned doing the paperwork and filing a restraining order, she got on her laptop.
Eric looked suspicious as he saw some magazines and scissors on the desk since cut-out letters had been used for the note.
At the pub again on Tuesday’s Days episode, Xander found Chloe drowning her sorrows.
Chloe revealed how she spewed hatred at Rachel right in front of Brady and assumed their romance was over.
After Chloe started crying in Xander’s arms, Gwen arrived and looked alarmed over the shocking sight.
At Marlena and John Black’s (Drake Hogestyn) townhouse, she accidentally dragged him in the bathtub during her bubble bath.
John naturally got all wet, but he didn’t mind and shared some romantic moments with Marlena before they took things to the bedroom.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say John and Marlena will continue to enjoy some much-needed relaxation, but more storms are brewing eventually.
