Days of Our Lives Recap: Tuesday, December 26 – Sarah’s Unexpected Patient – Maggie Falls for Trick – Xander & Alex Clash

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Tuesday, December 26, reveals that Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) was surprised when Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) and Theresa Donovan (Emily O’Brien) showed up for the Kiriakis family Christmas dinner.

Alex admitted that although he wasn’t going to come, he ultimately thought it’s what Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) would want.

There was some uncomfortable tension between Alex and Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth), especially since Alex kept calling him “Justin” instead of “Dad.”

Theresa clearly felt guilty, so she tried to assure Justin that Alex just needed time.

Justin confessed that he still felt in his heart that Alex was his son, but it seemed like everything had changed for Alex.

Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) attended the gathering along with Xander Cook (Paul Telfer), who brought Victoria Horton-Cook for a happy reunion with Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey).

At one point, Theresa offered to take the baby and give Sarah a little break. Sarah turned Theresa down before Xander admitted they were being extra careful with Victoria because of the recent kidnapping.

Once Konstantin Meleounis (John Kapelos) arrived, he brought Maggie a gift and the news that he was catching a flight out of Salem tonight.

Maggie opened the box and found a tablecloth inside, so Konstantin confirmed that this one was really from Greece and not Saxton’s!

After Konstantin stepped out of the room, Theresa followed and couldn’t wait for him to leave town.

Konstantin made it clear that he wasn’t giving up on Maggie and that he wasn’t getting on a plane. In fact, Konstantin had a plan to get back under Maggie’s roof tonight.

That led to Konstantin urging Theresa to watch a trick he’d learned, so she was shocked as he intentionally turned his ankle. It made a noise like the bone was cracking and left Theresa horrified.

Back at with the rest of the group on Tuesday’s Days episode, Maggie gave Alex an old watch that Victor inherited from his father and felt that he’d want Alex to have it.

Justin looked sad nearby, but he tried not to draw attention to it.

Later, Alex ranted about all the end-of-year emails to employees and acted like their checks should be enough.

Maggie was concerned over Alex’s lack of gratitude and thought maybe she should come back to Titan to help him run it.

Xander piped up that he could come back as a consultant or something too, but Alex acted like he didn’t need advice from the ex-gardener. Alex and Xander started bickering, but Konstantin cried out in pain and interrupted.

After Konstantin lied about hurting himself on the stairs, Sarah took a look at his ankle and determined that it was likely a bad sprain.

However, Sarah wanted Konstantin to get X-rays just in case in the morning – and that meant he’d have to postpone his flight.

Konstantin said he didn’t want to impose on Wednesday’s Days episode, but Maggie insisted he should stay the night.

Since Victoria got fussy, Xander and Sarah took her out for a drive together. Alex and Theresa also left they didn’t want to overstay their welcome.

Maggie seemed frustrated since this wasn’t quite the peaceful gathering that she hoped for, but Konstantin hinted about family being complicated and assured Maggie that she’d done her best.

At the back of The Bistro, Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) waited for a shipment with Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) and mentioned that he told EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) everything out of desperation.

Unfortunately, EJ wasn’t willing to help get rid of Clyde Weston (James Read). Ava blew up at Stefan for telling EJ the truth since he’s the DA and could take them down for this.

Stefan insisted he had to try and thought Ava had no business criticizing him when she wasn’t offering any solutions.

Ava eventually decided they shouldn’t be turning against each other right now and stopped the argument.

At the pub on Tuesday’s Days show, Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) found Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) sitting alone and admitted he’d come there alone, too.

Chad invited Harris to join him, so they commiserated over the mistakes they’d made.

Harris hinted about a drunken night and a kiss that Ava couldn’t forgive, so Chad was sorry about that. Everett Lynch (Blake Berris) showed up soon after, so Chad introduced him to Harris and said Everett was the guy replacing him in Stephanie Johnson’s (Abigail Klein) life.

Everett said he was just friends with Stephanie, so Chad invited him to pull up a chair.

Chad let Harris know that Everett was Stephanie’s ex, but Everett didn’t want to talk about that or anything related to himself.

Instead, Everett asked about Harris and became quite curious about his attempt to stop the growing drug problem in Salem. After Harris got a call about a new tip on a transaction, he had to take off.

Everett wanted a ride-along, but Harris warned that he’d have to go through the proper channels for that.

Once Harris accepted Everett’s card and took off, Chad and Everett discussed how this could be a huge story for The Spectator.

Behind The Bistro on Tuesday’s DOOL episode, Harris showed up right as Stefan and Ava received a shipment full of pills, so they froze in terror.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say Ava and Stefan will have to lie their way out of trouble, so stick with us for updates on their deception.
