Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Tuesday, July 25, reveals that Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) and Wendy Shin’s (Victoria Grace) make-out session was interrupted by Li Shin (Remington Hoffman), who eventually offered updates on Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) trying to trap him during their date.
Although Tripp sympathized with Li, he also thought maybe Melinda deserved another chance – especially considering how much she’d been through.
Tripp delivered news about Melinda’s daughter, Haley Chen (Thia Megia), passing away in a freak accident.
Since Tripp called Haley a good friend on Tuesday’s Days episode, Wendy quizzed him about her over a meal later.
Tripp admitted he was married to Haley, so Wendy choked on her pasta over the shock of that revelation.
However, Tripp ultimately explained that he married Haley to help her get her green card and fell for her in the process.
Wendy showed compassion for Tripp, who suggested Haley was at peace and would want him to be happy.
After Tripp confirmed that he was indeed happy with Wendy, they shared a kiss.
Wendy had to head back to the office, but she planned a date with Tripp and struggled to tear herself away from him.
At Small Bar, Melinda offered Sloan a drink since she creamed her in court earlier.
Sloan grumbled, but Melinda felt that her courtroom rival had to know the case against her brother, Colin Bedford (Jasper Newman), would be open and shut.
Although Sloan agreed to join Melinda, she turned down the drink and admitted she was pregnant.
Melinda was stunned, but she understood once Sloan explained how she wanted to create a new family.
That idea didn’t sound so bad to Melinda, who was tired of being alone.
Melinda brought Sloan up to speed on her date with Li and how she messed it up by trying to score a confession.
Sloan suggested that maybe Melinda should eat crow and try to get another chance with Li, but Melinda doubted that was in the cards.
Since Melinda and Sloan enjoyed each other’s company, they agreed to do hang out again sometime.
Once Sloan left for her first appointment with her obstetrician, Melinda awaited the arrival of her matchmaker’s next pick.
After Melinda learned her date would be wearing a blue blazer, she looked over and saw Li wearing one.
That left Melinda wondering if Li could really be her date again.
At the hospital on Tuesday’s Days episode, Dr. Ingrid Sorenson (Lisagayle Tomlinson) met EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) during Nicole Walker’s (Arianne Zucker) baby appointment.
EJ was taken aback to learn Dr. Sorenson wanted to do some genetic testing on him – just to check for genetic markers and any conditions or abnormalities that the baby might develop.
Dr. Sorenson hoped to find out what to expect in case there had to be an intervention in utero.
After Dr. Sorenson learned about the previous paternity drama, she swabbed EJ’s cheek and put his sample aside.
Dr. Sorenson then mentioned that they could move forward with the ultrasound and find out the baby’s gender, but Nicole said they wanted to be surprised.
Nevertheless, EJ cornered Dr. Sorenson alone later in hopes of finding out the gender after all.
Since it was only Nicole who didn’t want to know, EJ asked Dr. Sorenson to let him in on the secret.
Dr. Sorenson informed EJ that since Nicole was her patient, she couldn’t give out any information without her permission. EJ smiled and said Dr. Sorenson couldn’t blame a bloke for trying!
At John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) townhouse, Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) got confirmation that Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) threatened Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) and was arrested over his actions.
Brady admitted that Rachel Black (Finley Rose Slater) overheard and called the cops on him before Kristen backed up her statement.
Eric thought what Brady did was unbelievably stupid, but he also understood that Brady was driven to his breaking point since he was worried about his child.
After Eric said he understood that now more than ever, he confessed that he was going to be a father.
Eric explained that Sloan was pregnant, so Brady just hoped that she didn’t disappoint him.
Of course, Eric defended Sloan since she was nothing like Kristen. According to Eric, Sloan was a good person who had simply lost her way for a while.
Brady insisted he was happy for Eric and thought it actually sounded pretty selfless of Sloan to have this baby for him.
After Eric left, he ran into Nicole at the hospital. Sloan joined Eric moments later and announced her pregnancy to Nicole, who plastered on a fake smile.
At the DiMera mansion on Tuesday’s DOOL show, Belle Brady (Martha Madison) pushed Kristen to recant her statement and agreed to convince Brady to sign a new shared custody agreement.
Once Kristen got on board, she joined Belle at the townhouse and wondered if Brady would cooperate.
Brady refused to sign the paperwork until Kristen kept her end of the bargain first, so Kristen made a call to Trask.
After Kristen suggested she perhaps overstated things in her statement, she revealed that she wanted to retract it and wouldn’t be pressing charges against Brady.
Kristen felt that Rachel would see things her way too, so Melinda was annoyed over them wasting her time.
Once Kristen disconnected on Tuesday’s Days episode, she told Brady it was his turn.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say there’s much more drama to come in Brady and Kristen’s feud, so stay tuned.
