Days of Our Lives Recap: Tuesday, June 6 – Colin Ambushes Talia at Home – Drunk Shawn Tries to Drive

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Tuesday, June 6, reveals that Belle Brady (Martha Madison) helped Talia Hunter (Aketra Sevillian) get out on bail and assured Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) that her client was willing to testify against Colin Bedford (Jasper Newman).

At the Salem PD on Tuesday’s Days episode, Rafe pointed out that they had to find Colin first and shocked Talia with the news that he’d escaped.

Talia also learned Colin had potentially kidnapped Abe Carver (James Reynolds), so she offered Rafe an apology for her role in everything and for not speaking up sooner.

Meanwhile, Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) got the details of Leo Stark’s (Greg Rikaart) encounter with Colin, so Leo thought it was only fair that he be able to ask a few questions of his own.

Since Leo seemed judgmental about Talia’s involvement in Colin’s scheme, Jada let it slip that her sister was in an emotionally abusive relationship.

After Jada realized she’d spilled too much, she pushed Leo to have a heart and keep Talia’s name out of the article he was writing.

Later, Leo wrote a Lady Whistleblower column that talked about Talia and the emotional abuse she’d endured, but his conscience forced him to delete it.

At the DiMera mansion on Tuesday’s DOOL show, Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) introduced herself to Dimitri von Leuschner (Peter Porte) before Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) introduced Gwen to Megan DiMera (Miranda Wilson).

Gwen was forced to explain her friendship with Kristen, so she talked about all the blackmail and island drama as well as Kristen helping her score a Statesville pardon.

Dimitri insisted he wasn’t doing any press, but Megan warned him not to be so hasty and eventually stepped away with him for a private word.

Megan argued that since Dimitri refused to marry Kristen, he didn’t have a lot of options with his 40th birthday rapidly approaching.

Dimitri thought it’d be better if he actually loved the person he was about to wed, but love was a luxury they didn’t have time for according to Megan.

Since securing the inheritance was the priority, Megan urged Dimitri to get back in there and sweep the “Rice Chex” girl off her feet.

Dimitri wasn’t very enthusiastic about the idea, but he did soften a bit toward Gwen once he rejoined her.

Megan and Dimitri also overheard Gwen talking about finding someone new now that she was moving on from Xander, so they knew she was single.

Dimitri agreed to Gwen’s interview, so Megan vowed to be in touch with details and set up lunch tomorrow.

Once Gwen returned to her hotel suite, Leo was impressed over her scoring the interview. Although Leo had a hot scoop of his own earlier, he admitted he let himself be guilt-tripped out of writing it.

When Jada met up with Talia, she was relieved over the bail updates and sent her sister home with a warning about Colin.

Rafe agreed that Colin could be dangerous and vengeful, so Talia needed to lock herself in the apartment once an officer escorted her.

Talia did what she was told and locked the door before noticing Officer Henshaw’s (Tate Charles Doppler) badge was on the floor. By the time Talia realized Colin must be in the apartment, it was too late.

Talia dove for the door and tried to get out, but Colin grabbed her from behind and put a hand over her mouth to silence her.

Next on Tuesday’s Days episode, Belle was surprised to see Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) home from Greece since he didn’t tell her that he was flying back yet.

Shawn had been drinking, so he admitted it when Belle quizzed him.

However, Shawn felt he had many more beers to guzzle since he shot Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) and put him in a coma.

Belle tried to convince Shawn that it was just an accident and that no one blamed him, but he clearly still held himself responsible.

Shawn blamed Megan as well and flew into a rage when Belle confessed she was living in Salem at the DiMera mansion.

Once Shawn started to head out the door and give Megan a piece of his mind, Belle refused to let him drive drunk and took away his keys.

Shawn wound up snapping at Belle and ultimately pushed her to leave him alone, so she went to bed with a promise to wait up for him.

At Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) and Xander Cook’s (Paul Telfer) place on Tuesday’s Days episode, they kissed until Chloe slapped Xander and admitted she hated being attracted to him.

Chloe ranted about some of Xander’s crimes, but he convinced her to focus on how she truly felt – not how she thought she should or shouldn’t feel.

Xander kissed Chloe again, so she confessed it was nice. With that in mind, Xander hoped that maybe they could just take this one day at a time and see where things went between them.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say Chloe and Xander’s romance is sure to come with some twists and turns, so stay tuned to DOOL.
