Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Tuesday, November 14, reveals that Tate Black (Jamie Martin Mann) shared a close moment with Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis), but it was interrupted by EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feuerriegel) return home.
Holly gave EJ updates on the location app that she’d finally remembered having as well as Nicole Walker-DiMera’s (Arianne Zucker) last known whereabouts.
EJ ripped into Holly since he was just now hearing about this and assumed “juvenile delinquent” Tate was the reason she wasn’t at that spot with Nicole now.
Tate defended Holly and pointed out that Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) told them to stay there while he searched for Nicole instead.
After EJ took off, Tate spoke to Holly alone about the moment they were having earlier. Although Tate suggested it seemed like they were about to kiss, Holly flew into a rage and acted like he was trying to “get some” when her mother was in crisis.
Once Holly told Tate to leave on Tuesday’s Days episode, he apologized and assured her that he really was sorry about Nicole.
On the side of the road, Nicole explained everything that happened to Eric, who looked concerned over Dimitri von Leuschner (Peter Porte) having the baby.
Nicole could tell that Eric thought Dimitri and Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) couldn’t be trusted, so she began to panic over being separated from her son.
When EJ arrived, he overheard that he had a son and beamed with pride. EJ also checked on Nicole and told Eric that he could take it from here.
At the hospital later, Nicole was admitted, but EJ couldn’t find any sign of the baby in the neonatal unit or anywhere else for that matter.
In the park on Tuesday’s DOOL show, Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) stepped forward to arrest Leo, who tried to make a break for it before Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) blocked his path.
Rafe and Jada took Leo to the Salem PD, where he was handcuffed to the table in the interrogation room and grilled about Dimitri’s location.
Jada and Rafe suggested this was Leo’s only chance to save himself, but Leo acted like he was a hero along with Dimitri since they’d helped Nicole.
After Leo explained the whole baby saga, he was left alone to make his one phone call.
At Sloan Petersen-Brady’s (Jessica Serfaty) apartment, Dimitri said he got Sloan’s address from Leo and hoped she could help him since she was good at getting people out of tight spots.
Dimitri said the baby he was holding belonged to EJ, so Sloan and Melinda found out the news that Nicole gave birth following a car accident.
Once Dimitri revealed that he couldn’t take the baby to the hospital because the place was crawling with cops, Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) assured him that they understood and that he came to the right place.
After Dimitri handed the baby to Sloan and took off, he looked for Leo in the park.
Leo eventually called to reveal that he’d been arrested and push Dimitri to make his getaway on the submarine without him.
Back with Melinda, she shut down Sloan’s plan to call the cops or take the baby to the hospital. Melinda decided Sloan could raise this baby with Eric and offer his own biological child.
Sloan didn’t like the idea of taking Nicole’s baby, but Melinda wondered if she really wanted someone as ruthless as EJ raising Eric’s son.
After Sloan questioned Melinda about how this would even work, Melinda came up with the idea of bribing a shady doctor they both knew.
Sloan got Dr. Pierce (Steve Mize) out of another legal jam, so Melinda felt he’d be happy to take a bribe and do what she asked of him.
Melinda planned to get Dr. Pierce to check the baby out and sign a fake death certificate to deceive Nicole.
Sloan seemed skeptical about being able to pull this off, but Melinda insisted she could bring the newborn home in a few days and no one would be the wiser.
Once Eric came back to the apartment later, Sloan informed him that the baby boy they were adopting had been born that night.
Elsewhere, Melinda cradled the baby in her arms and hinted about everything being OK since his new mommy made the right decision.
In the town square on Tuesday’s Days episode, Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) cornered Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) and urged her to fire EJ as Salem’s new DA.
Stefan complained about Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus) getting railroaded, but Paulina acted like Gabi was a criminal who deserved to pay.
Since Paulina refused to budge on firing EJ, Stefan wondered if he could change her mind through a sizable donation to her next campaign.
Paulina wasn’t pleased over the bribe and suggested she’d just forget this conversation happened for Stefan’s sake.
Stefan warned that Paulina was making a mistake that she might live to regret.
When Paulina remarked on Stefan threatening her and proving he was a DiMera, Stefan confirmed he was indeed a DiMera like his brother and that Paulina just backed the wrong one.
