Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Tuesday, November 28, reveals that Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) wrapped up dinner at the Horton house, where the kids had asked to spend the night. Chad allowed it and told Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) this would give them some alone time since things had been rocky between them lately.
However, Everett Lynch (Blake Berris) appeared after doing his interview on Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) and Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) for The Spectator.
Now that Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) was being charged for causing the demise of Nicole Walker-DiMera’s (Arianne Zucker) baby, Everett needed Stephanie’s help ASAP to spin this in the paper’s official response.
Chad wasn’t pleased over Stephanie and Everett defending Leo – nor was he happy about them spending extra time alone together.
At The Spectator office, Stephanie helped Everett work on a statement, but his laptop battery started going down.
Everett asked Stephanie to get the charger out of his bag, so that gave her an opportunity to discover an engagement ring box.
Stephanie opened it and got Everett to confirm that he was going to propose before his accident happened.
Everett admitted he brought the ring to Salem with him that first night, but then he found out Stephanie was with Chad.
Stephanie was so sorry, but Everett insisted she had every right to move on and tried to get her attention back on the task at hand.
At Xander Cook’s (Paul Telfer) place on Tuesday’s Days episode, he was having a turkey leg when he opened the door to Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey). Sarah wheeled Victoria Cook’s stroller inside since Xander was definitely up for a visit.
When Sarah handed over a copy of Victoria’s birth certificate with the right name on it, Xander was touched.
Sarah also said that they’d split things right down the middle when it came to sharing custody, so Xander was looking forward to co-parenting with her.
After some hinting around on Tuesday’s DOOL episode, Sarah finally admitted she’d be open to more than co-parenting someday.
Xander was pleased, but Sarah headed for the door since she didn’t seem like she wanted to rush into anything with him yet.
On the way out, Sarah crossed paths with Chad, who eventually spoke to Xander alone.
Chad revealed that he bought Gwen von Leuschner’s (Emily O’Brien) half of the paper, so he offered to make it worth Xander’s while to fire Everett.
All Xander had to do was give Everett the boot and keep Chad’s name out of it.
If Xander kept his end of the bargain, Chad insisted he’d be a silent partner and that Xander could keep 100 percent of The Spectator’s profits.
Later, Xander came to the office and wanted to put a pin in Everett’s latest project. Everett was confused, but Xander said he had to let Everett go.
Back with Chad on Tuesday’s Days episode, he put on a show with Stephanie about how he was really going to give Everett a chance.
In the town square, Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) kept going on and on about Victoria’s kidnapping, so Theresa Donovan (Emily O’Brien) tried to shut him down.
Alex thought he’d better check on Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers), so he ultimately talked Theresa into going with him.
At the Kiriakis mansion on Tuesday’s Days episode, Maggie once again praised Konstantin Meleounis (John Kapelos) as a hero for saving Victoria, but he pretended he still felt guilty about planting a kiss on her.
Maggie assured Konstantin that it was forgotten and that one blunder didn’t undo what a good man he was.
Once Alex and Theresa arrived later, they were chatting with Maggie when Konstantin reappeared. Alex tried to introduce Konstantin to Theresa, but Konstantin said they already knew each other.
Theresa seemed like she was on the verge of panicking, but Konstantin lied that Theresa gave him some helpful directions in the town square two weeks ago.
There was also talk about the kidnapper presumably being a man according to Konstantin.
Maggie considered the idea that someone wanted to hold Victoria for
While Maggie and Alex were in the kitchen, Theresa blew her top at Konstantin over his behavior.
Konstantin acted like he was just having fun with Theresa, but she fired back that nothing about any of this was fun.
After Konstantin told Theresa to get down off her high horse, he added that they both knew she was just with Alex for his inheritance.
Alex returned with a tea tray at that exact moment and looked taken aback over what he seemingly overheard.
At the hospital, Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) brought Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) news from Greece since he just got back from his trip with John Black (Drake Hogestyn).
According to the locals, Konstantin never repaid the restaurant loan in full like Victor Kiriakis (John Anison) actually wanted. That led to tension and basically turned Konstantin into Victor’s enemy.
Steve thought all the white lies added up to trouble, but Kayla acted like maybe Konstantin really was just trying to make Maggie happy.
Sarah eventually got updates and suggested she had doubts about Konstantin too until he saved kidnapped Victoria.
Steve thought the baby snatching sounded suspicious, so he suggested Konstantin might’ve set it up with the help of a partner in crime.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Steve will keep digging for the truth, so don’t miss all the DOOL drama.
