Days of Our Lives Recap: Tuesday, November 7 – DA EJ Seeks Gabi’s Conviction – Rafe’s Vow to Scared Sister

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Tuesday, November 7, reveals that Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) threatened to arrest Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) along with Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus) if Stefan didn’t get out of his way.

Stefan wondered what Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) would think about this considering he was both the police commissioner and Gabi’s brother.

Harris said they’d soon find out and insisted on taking Gabi down to the police station in handcuffs.

At the Salem PD, Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) gave Rafe updates on Li Shin’s (Remington Hoffman) case and said they’d know more when the suspect arrived.

Harris led Gabi in, so Rafe obviously wasn’t happy about her predicament.

Jada offered to handle the interview in the interrogation room, but Rafe wanted to do it and thanked Jada for her support.

Once Rafe cornered Gabi alone, he made it clear that Gabi was in serious trouble.

Off the record and sister to brother, Rafe needed Gabi to tell him exactly what went down.

Gabi recapped how Li lured her to his apartment, where she found him on the floor and pulled the knife out thinking she could help him.

Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace) and Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) caught Gabi standing over the body before overhearing her mention needing to do something about the bloody weapon.

Li also identified Gabi as his attacker before he perished at the hospital, so Rafe insisted the evidence didn’t look good at all.

Gabi swore on Arianna Horton’s (Lane Rosa) life that she didn’t do this and begged for help, so Rafe admitted he believed her.

Once Rafe grilled Gabi about why Li would trick her, Gabi admitted he was mad and reluctantly explained why. Rafe fumed over the blackmail plot and Dr. Wilhelm Rolf’s (Richard Wharton) involvement since he was a fugitive.

However, Rafe tried to string together a story about Li wanting revenge bad enough to have someone stab him in the back and frame Gabi for it.

Unfortunately, Rafe felt it’d be difficult to convince anyone without proof. Gabi pushed Rafe to get evidence to clear her name, so he vowed to do everything he could.

That said, Rafe also wanted Gabi to be prepared for the possibility that she could be headed back to prison.

At the hospital, Wendy cried over losing Li and ranted about wanting revenge on Gabi. Although Wendy planned to take matters into her own hands, Tripp warned her to let the police handle justice and tried to console her.

In the town square on Tuesday’s Days episode, Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) took a call from Sloan Petersen-Brady (Jessica Serfaty) and congratulated her on the wedding.

Melinda confirmed this would help with the adoption before hanging up and approaching Paulina Price (Jackee Harry) nearby.

Although Melinda tried to play nice, Paulina said buttering her up wouldn’t work and had no intention of giving Trask her old job back.

At the DiMera mansion on Tuesday’s DOOL show, Paulina interrupted Nicole Walker-Brady (Arianne Zucker) and EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) just as they were about to celebrate their wedding night in bed together.

Paulina offered to come back later, but Nicole suggested EJ should hear her out since Salem’s new mayor came all the way over.

When Paulina offered EJ the deputy mayor position, he turned it down. Paulina made another pitch to get EJ on board, but then he worked out another deal with her offscreen.

Back in the town square on Tuesday’s Days episode, Melinda saw the awful Li story on her phone right as Wendy appeared with Tripp.

After Melinda said she was sorry about what happened, angry Wendy doubted that considering how the former DA manipulated her brother.

Nevertheless, Melinda assured Wendy that she had regrets when it came to Li and hinted about the real spark that she once hoped would turn to more.

Once Melinda was alone, she teared up over Li’s demise right as Paulina reappeared. Paulina suggested that Melinda might as well just move on since her old position had been filled.

Back at the Salem PD, EJ joined Gabi and Stefan in the interrogation room. When EJ revealed that he was Salem’s new district attorney, Stefan said EJ must be joking.

EJ wasn’t joking at all, so he confirmed the news and said he was looking forward to making Gabi his first conviction. Both Stefan and Gabi looked nervous over EJ working to put her behind bars.

As for Tripp on Tuesday’s Days episode, he comforted Wendy once the police were done investigating their apartment. Wendy broke down in tears again at the spot where Li faced a grim fate, but Tripp was there to hold her close.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say the mystery of what really happened to Li will unravel sooner or later, so stay tuned.
