Days of Our Lives Recap: Tuesday, October 31 – Masked Slasher Attacks Holly – Eric’s Zombie Problem – Abigail’s Resurrection

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Tuesday, October 31, reveals that Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) apologized to Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) for their fight and admitted they weren’t meant to be.

Although Stephanie thought it was best to break up, she still cared about Chad and wanted to do something special for him.

Stephanie recalled a diary that Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) found on one of their adventures that helped a man in the 1800s cast a magic spell to resurrect his wife.

Now Stephanie wanted to do the same for Chad by bringing Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) back to him. Chad was skeptical as Kayla brought over the written spell and a potion for the ritual.

Stephanie also pulled out Abigail’s wedding ring since she found it in the closet and needed something that belonged to her.

Once the spell was cast, there was a knock at the door. It turned out to be Steve, who found some discarded diary pages and realized it was a horrible mistake to resurrect Abigail based on them.

Steve insisted they had to send Abigail back to the grave if the spell worked, but Chad was against the idea and tried to wrestle Steve’s gun away.

The lights went out briefly on Tuesday’s DOOL show, which allowed some offscreen rotting corpse version of Abigail to snap Steve’s neck in the dark.

Abigail went after Kayla too while Chad was out looking for his wife, so he returned to find Stephanie with her deceased parents.

Stephanie revealed that she tried to shoot Abigail repeatedly, but Abby didn’t even flinch.

After Stephanie announced that she saved one bullet for Chad, she blamed his Abigail obsession for all this and pulled the trigger. Chad woke up startled after realizing it was all a Halloween nightmare.

At the DiMera mansion on Tuesday’s Days episode, Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) complained about the horror movie she’d just watched with Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis), but Holly offered to watch another one with him.

Chanel had to leave and do some prep work at the bakery, so Johnny walked her out to her car. The wheels started turning for Holly, who decided that some danger could bring her closer to Johnny.

Afterward, Holly talked Tate Black (Jamie Martin Mann) into wearing a scary mask that looked like some sort of alien. Holly also handed Tate a knife and convinced him to pretend to stalk her in front of Johnny.

When someone wearing the mask appeared in the house, Holly was startled as they slashed her arm. Johnny ran after the perp, but he couldn’t catch up with them.

In a moment alone later, Tate appeared and was confused over Holly’s injury. Holly accused Tate of doing it, but he insisted he just now came in through the kitchen to carry out the plan.

Soon after on Tuesday’s Days episode, someone wearing the same mask put a knife in Tate’s back and then turned it on Johnny, too.

Once both Johnny and Tate were deceased on the floor, Holly was horrified as Chanel unmasked herself.

Chanel talked about taking out her professor’s wife and basically refused to stand by while Holly stole Johnny away.

Since Chanel thought Johnny had real feelings for Holly, she acted like he got what he deserved – and now Holly would get the same.

As Chanel lunged toward her with the weapon, Holly woke up to find that Chanel was making out with Johnny next to her and said this was her worst nightmare.

At home on Tuesday’s Days episode, Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) watched a zombie movie with Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) before getting some tragic updates on Mr. Dorsey, the parishioner that Eric visited at the hospital recently.

Since Mr. Dorsey didn’t make it, Eric decided to go pay his last respects at the hospital. It was storming pretty badly outside, so Sloan opted to go with him.

Once they made it to the hospital, Eric took off to find Mr. Dorsey’s body while Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker popped up and spooked Sloan.

Eric eventually came running back out with a torn sleeve and convinced both women to hide with him, so they all barricaded themselves in one of the rooms.

After Eric delivered news about a zombie apocalypse happening, Sloan decided to clear her conscience and admitted Eric was the father of Nicole’s baby.

Eric was upset with Sloan for keeping this secret from him – and Nicole wasn’t happy about the paternity test manipulation either.

Once Eric realized he’d been bitten and infected, he found a syringe full of something and felt one of the women had to take him out.

Sloan couldn’t do it, so Nicole took charge and jabbed Eric since he wouldn’t want to live this way or be a threat to their child.

As Eric fell to the floor, Sloan ranted at Nicole for doing that to him. Nicole wound up injecting Sloan as well and gave Sloan a parting thought about Nicole always having a connection to Eric through his baby.

On the sofa at home, Sloan woke up in a panic and made sure Eric was awake too, but she ultimately realized she’d just had a bad dream.

At Paulina Price’s (Jackée Harry) place, she was enjoying a movie night with Abe Carver (James Reynolds) when she got a phone call from Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) about a homicidal maniac escaping from Bayview.

After the power went out for a few seconds, Paulina looked over and found Abe unconscious. Nurse Whitley King (Kim Coles) was also there, so it was revealed that she hit Abe over the head with a rolling pin.

Once Abe regained consciousness, he acted like his missing memories had returned. However, Paulina was horrified when Abe accused her of being Whitley and acted like Whitley was the real Paulina.

Paulina was suddenly replaced in photos and was wearing an outfit meant for Bayview as well. Tons of stuffed cats appeared in the apartment, but Paulina kept trying to convince Abe that she was the real Paulina – not Whitley.

Abe made a phone call to turn “Whitley” aka Paulina in for escaping and coming there to do them harm. When Paulina continued protesting, Whitley raised up her rolling pin to strike the real Paulina.

Paulina was rattled once she woke up from her nightmare, but she tried to shake it off and enjoy the rest of her Halloween night with Abe.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say Paulina has more trouble in her future, so don’t miss what’s ahead in the real world instead of her dream.
