Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Wednesday, April 26, reveals that Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) woke up in bed with Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) and finished christening their room with another round of lovemaking.
While Gabi and Stefan looked forward to a new chapter together, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) was pensive over Nicole Walker’s (Arianne Zucker) secret downstairs.
Nicole could tell EJ had something on his mind on Wednesday’s Days episode, but he acted like it was Gabi’s return to the mansion that was bothering him.
When Stefan appeared with Gabi, he reminded EJ that his name was on the deed to the house before his “death.”
Stefan also informed EJ that he was bringing Gabi on as a consultant for DiMera Enterprises, so EJ decided to bring Nicole on as a consultant, too.
Later, Stefan suggested they should all carpool together and said EJ could drive. EJ muttered that he intended to and was clearly hoping to gain the upper hand on Stefan soon.
In the town square on Wednesday’s Days episode, Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) and Talia Hunter (Aketra Sevillian) failed to give away any free samples since everyone was so spooked over the drugging crisis.
Even Paulina Price (Jackee Harry) turned down her usual bear claw, but she eventually tried to help Chanel push the treats on customers.
Paulina also convinced Abe Carver (James Reynolds) to eat something so that the people of Salem would see that the mayor was comfortable partaking.
However, Chanel remained worried about the possibility of closing her doors for good. Talia gave Chanel a pep talk and insisted she was willing to work for free since she had that much faith in her.
Once Chanel hugged Talia and told her that she was the best, she got a call from Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu).
Jada wanted Chanel and Talia to come down to the station so they could recap the night the biscuit dough got drugged.
After Abe pushed Jada and Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) to speed up their investigation, Talia and Chanel were questioned separately.
Rafe took Talia’s statement in the interrogation room while Chanel told Jada her version of events at her desk.
Both stories lined up later, but Jada became alarmed when Rafe said Talia went straight home after dinner at Paulina’s apartment. That led to Jada realizing that what Talia told Rafe wasn’t true.
Back with Paulina, she suggested Talia could come over for another meal, but Chanel pointed out that she’d already sent Talia home for the day.
Next, Talia made sure no one was following her as she approached a motel room.
After Talia greeted a mystery man who’ll soon be revealed as Colin (Jasper Newman), he said it was about time and pulled her inside for a passionate kiss.
At the pub on Wednesday’s Days episode, Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) interrupted Sloan Petersen’s (Jessica Serfaty) breakfast with Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) to hurl accusations.
This was personal since Melinda suffered the effects of the drugged biscuits, too.
Eric gave Sloan an alibi since he was with her all night, but Melinda was determined to sink Sloan for the crime.
Once Melinda left Wednesday’s DOOL show, Sloan worried about going down for a crime she didn’t commit and mulled over the latest news of the case.
At first, Sloan had believed Chanel and Paulina were coming after her, but she didn’t see why they’d target Chanel’s business.
That left Sloan wondering who’d want to hurt Chanel.
Eric felt they needed to nail down who the real target was, so Sloan agreed. Sloan wound up questioning whether she was the target or if it was Chanel instead.
