Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Wednesday, February 15, reveals that Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace) stopped by Li Shin’s (Remington Hoffman) suite to check on him. Although Wendy felt Li needed to face reality and accept that he’d blown it with Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus), Li remained reluctant to give up.
Wendy ultimately suggested that since Li had screwed up big time, he needed to start small – like offering to get coffee with Gabi and be her friend.
Li wanted to be Gabi’s husband instead, but he was touched over Wendy’s visit and sent her off for her date with Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman).
At home on Wednesday’s Days episode, Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) slept on the sofa before Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) appeared to them on their anniversary.
Although Steve told himself this couldn’t be real, Kayla kissed him to prove it.
After Kayla admitted “the good place” wasn’t working out, she offered updates on Nick Fallon’s (Blake Berris) trick and how she accidentally sold her soul to the devil.
Kayla revealed that Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) were in the same predicament.
That news didn’t make sense to Steve on Wednesday’s Days episode since heaven wasn’t supposed to be a place of corruption and fine print.
Kayla guessed maybe they got sidetracked from heaven somehow and begged Steve for help, so he pushed her to tell him what to do.
Next, Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) literally bumped into Johnny, who was carrying a bouquet in the town square.
Tripp hoped he didn’t ruin Chanel Dupree’s (Raven Bowens) flowers, but Johnny said they were for Wendy instead.
After Tripp learned Johnny had Valentine’s Day plans with Wendy, he apologized for Joey Johnson’s (Tanner Stine) attempt to play matchmaker.
Johnny was curious about whether Tripp was really interested in Wendy, but Wendy’s arrival interrupted their conversation.
Tripp assured Wendy and Johnny that he was happy for them before heading home, where he found Steve muttering in his sleep.
When Steve awoke on Wednesday’s Days episode, he insisted Kayla had been there and claimed it felt so real.
Tripp argued that was impossible and convinced Steve that he must’ve been dreaming. Later, Steve reflected on memories of his last wedding to Kayla and vowed to love her until the end of time.
At the DiMera mansion, Gabi was furious over Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) calling her “Chloe” when he declared his love.
Stefan ultimately admitted to phoning Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) first and getting her voicemail before he called Gabi.
Gabi sarcastically wondered if Stefan was hoping for a threesome, but he insisted he wasn’t – unless Gabi was into that sort of thing.
“I’m not, you pig!” Gabi yelled as she threw a glass of wine all over Stefan’s white shirt.
After Gabi stormed out, she ended up at Li’s hotel room. Li was surprised to see Gabi, who reminded him about needing to discuss the divorce.
Once Li flashed back to Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) saying she could drag things out, he told Gabi that he loved her enough to give her the divorce she wanted and vowed to get the ball rolling.
Gabi was pleasantly surprised and admitted she was going to make love to Stefan tonight until he called her by Chloe’s name.
Li couldn’t stop himself from laughing, so Gabi snapped that this was all his fault.
Although Li acknowledged that he went overboard, he argued that brainwashing wouldn’t have affected his own feelings.
Li made it clear that everything he did was because he was crazy about Gabi, so she agreed to let him order her some room service.
At The Bistro, Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) and EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) were seated near Sloan and Eric Brady’s (Greg Vaughan) table.
That led to Eric’s jealousy flaring up as he admitted maybe he wasn’t over Nicole yet.
Nicole also complained to EJ since Sloan was supposed to just be EJ’s rebound in the bedroom.
The sight of them flirting across the table on Valentine’s Day was tough for Nicole to watch.
Nicole also found out Sloan got the last steak, so the night just got progressively worse.
Sloan didn’t seem happy about Eric fixating on Nicole – and EJ seemed a bit annoyed over Nicole’s attention being on Eric.
At one point, Nicole got up to see if the staff had any aspirin for EJ’s headache.
Eric also planned to get his reading glasses from the car, so that led to an uncomfortable encounter with Nicole.
After more awkwardness, Sloan decided she just wanted to go home and convinced Eric to take her.
EJ also suggested calling it a night and taking Nicole on a proper date another time.
Back at the DiMera mansion on Wednesday’s DOOL show, Johnny and Wendy found out about Stefan’s disastrous night with Gabi.
Although Johnny worried maybe they should watch something besides a horror movie for their own date, Wendy assured him that she didn’t care and just wanted to spend time with him.
As for Nicole and EJ, they surrendered to temptation and decided to make love in EJ’s bedroom.
Eric also took Sloan up on her offer to rip off all her clothes and forget the world for a while, so they ended Valentine’s Day on a positive note.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Eric and Nicole’s lingering feelings for each other are only going to grow stronger, so stay tuned to DOOL.
