Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Wednesday, May 3, reveals that Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) did his best to console Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien), who was upset over Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) moving in with Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin).
While Leo let Gwen vent, Xander quizzed Colin Bedford (Jasper Newman) about Talia Hunter (Aketra Sevillian) since he was sure he’d seen her come out of Colin’s room.
Colin was rude to Xander as he denied knowing Talia and suggested they should both just mind their own business.
At the new apartment on Wednesday’s Days episode, Chloe explained to Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) that she couldn’t be responsible for Rachel Black’s (Finley Rose Slater) pain.
Brady realized it was really over and accepted that, so Chloe and Brady agreed they’d always love each other before kissing goodbye.
Xander walked in and interrupted that kiss, so he thought maybe Brady and Chloe were getting back together.
Chloe let Xander know she was still moving on and shared a pizza with him on the floor along with a toast to being charming roommates.
At the pub on Wednesday’s DOOL episode, Gwen found Brady drinking a club soda and suggested they could drown their sorrows together – though she’d need something stronger.
Brady thought Gwen was better off without Xander, but he objected when Gwen suggested he might be better off without Chloe, too.
Although Brady insisted they wouldn’t be crying on each other’s shoulders, Gwen seemed angry and made it clear that she wasn’t crying before yelling for the waitress.
At Sweet Bits, Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) pulled back from Talia’s kiss and wondered why Talia did that.
After Chanel admitted she didn’t know Talia was into women, Talia confessed that she’d only dated guys up to now.
However, Talia suggested she felt chemistry with Chanel, who agreed there was a vibe between them and mentioned that Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) was moving on with someone new in New Zealand.
Chanel thought maybe she should move on too and pulled Talia into another kiss, but it was Talia who pulled away this time.
Talia acted like it might be a mistake since Chanel was her boss, but Chanel thought it was fine as long as it was consensual.
Besides, Chanel wasn’t even sure the bakery would reopen after the health violation.
Talia reassured Chanel, who was glad to have someone trustworthy in her corner.
Chanel also asked Talia if she wanted to have dinner at The Bistro later and see where things might lead between them, so Talia agreed to the date.
Afterward on Wednesday’s Days episode, Talia met back up with Colin to let him know things had gone well with Chanel, but she battled a guilty conscience over setting her up just to break her heart.
Colin pushed Talia to put those feelings aside and help him get justice for his mom since this was so important to him.
When Chanel ran into Leo in the town square, he wanted the scoop on her wedding plans.
Chanel reiterated that her brief drugged engagement to Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) was over and hinted about having a date tonight with someone else.
At Titan, Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) showed up late after dumping Gwen and explained to Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) how Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) therapy was helping him.
After Maggie received a phone call about Bo Brady’s (Peter Reckell) back-from-the-dead status and current comatose state, Alex suggested he could handle everything while she joined Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) in Greece.
Maggie reluctantly agreed and handed over the paperwork for a hugely important deal that Alex needed to handle, so he vowed not to let her down.
At the Salem PD on Wednesday’s Days episode, Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) couldn’t shake the feeling that Talia was involved in targeting Chanel and Paulina Price (Jackée Harry), but Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) just couldn’t see any motive at all.
Rafe eventually realized neither Talia nor Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) would’ve had much time to get a key copy made after stealing from Paulina’s bag before the break-in.
That led to Talia remembering there was a little mom-and-pop hardware store nearby, so she went with Rafe to question Ethan (Gary Ballard) the shop owner about who had keys made that day.
Ethan didn’t remember Sloan based on the pic he was shown, but he definitely recalled Talia since she was a knockout and in a “hell of a hurry.”
Jada looked upset over her suspicions being confirmed.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Jada will continue to follow the clues, so stay tuned for updates on the trouble Talia’s about to land in.
