Days of Our Lives Recap: Wednesday, November 22 – Sami Shocker for Sloan – Gabi in Clyde Danger – EJ Rejects Stefan’s Offer

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Wednesday, November 22, reveals that Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) gave Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace) updates on Ava Vitali’s (Tamara Braun) ordeal with Gil Carter (David S. Lee), so she ran to the hospital and got Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) to come back to the station with her.

In the interrogation room, Ava spoke to Clyde Weston (James Read) over the phone. Clyde wasn’t happy about losing one of his best lieutenants and warned that it wouldn’t be easy to replace Gil.

However, Clyde suggested he might be willing to overlook what Ava did if she followed through on stealing the evidence room key from Harris.

If Ava didn’t do what she was told, Tripp would pay the price.

Ava lashed out at Clyde right as Harris entered, so Ava eventually hung up and acted like she’d been trying to negotiate with a criminal defense attorney over the phone.

Once Tripp arrived and made sure Ava was OK, he angrily suggested he was glad Gil was gone or else he would’ve taken the dirtbag out himself. Ava didn’t want Tripp talking like that and needed her son to stay out of trouble.

While Tripp was on the phone trying to find a defense lawyer for Ava, she stole Harris’ set of keys from his desk.

Harris returned with good news since Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) saw no reason why Ava had to be booked – at least not tonight.

Ava hugged Harris in gratitude and continued to conceal the set of keys in her hand.

At the hospital on Wednesday’s Days episode, Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) barged in demanding Gabi DiMera’s (Camila Banus) release.

EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) fumed since he was busy trying to comfort Nicole Walker-DiMera (Arianne Zucker) over the loss of her baby.

Stefan eventually softened and let Nicole as well as well as EJ know he was sorry for what they were going through. After Nicole encouraged EJ to step outside with Stefan and talk, EJ bickered with Stefan in the park.

Stefan was willing to step aside completely and call an emergency shareholders’ meeting to make sure EJ got power back at DiMera Enterprises.

Stefan just wanted Gabi’s freedom in return, but EJ gleefully refused to strike the deak.

In the town square on Wednesday’s DOOL show, Abe Carver (James Reynolds) ran into Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) and got an offer to come to her place for Thanksgiving.

Abe agreed to think about it and headed to the hospital with some flowers for Nicole.

After Nicole reflected on how Abe used to call her his bonus daughter, Abe comforted her despite his missing memories.

Nicole cried in Abe’s arms and eventually filled EJ in on the visit, so EJ also informed Nicole that he turned down Stefan’s deal.

At Statesville on Wednesday’s Days episode, Stefan was there to see Gabi and learned Clyde wanted to see him first.

Although Stefan acted like he didn’t have time for Clyde’s games, Clyde suggested it’d be a real shame if something happened to Gabi behind bars.

Stefan wondered if Clyde just threatened his wife, so Clyde argued that he was just saying he could offer Gabi protection if Stefan became his partner.

Clyde assured Stefan that he could make sure no one laid a finger on Gabi’s head. In return, Clyde insisted he thought it was time for the DiMeras to get back in the drug business.

Back in the town square, Abe ran into Paulina again and accepted her Thanksgiving dinner invitation, so she was delighted.

At home on Wednesday’s Days episode, Sloan Petersen-Brady (Jessica Serfaty) told Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) that she had good news since they’d get their baby tomorrow.

Eric couldn’t stop thinking about Nicole’s loss, so Sloan acted like she understood how terrible this was for her. That said, Sloan felt they shouldn’t let what happened to Nicole’s baby ruin their own happiness.

Sloan got Eric talking about baby names, so he suggested Samuel and added that they could call him Sam for short.

Once Sloan realized Eric was trying to name the baby after his sister, Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney), Sloan wasn’t on board.

There was talk about Sami’s bad reputation and feud with Nicole, so Eric recapped how Nicole stole Sami’s baby and mentioned all Sami’s DNA tampering over the years.

Sloan seemed surprised that Eric was able to forgive Nicole, but he suggested that Sami had done bad things, too.

Besides, Nicole was desperate for a baby, so Eric knew that sometimes desperate people did desperate things.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say Eric surely won’t be so forgiving to Sloan once her own secret comes out down the road!
