Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Wednesday, October 25, reveals that Dimitri von Leuschner (Peter Porte) gave Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) a chance to back out of going on the run with him, especially since this wasn’t what Leo signed up for.
Leo assured Dimitri that he didn’t care about the money and was doing all this for love, so the pair moved forward with their plan to sneak back in the Salem Inn.
In the town square on Wednesday’s Days episode, Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) and Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) traded introductions with Gil Carter (David S. Lee), who put on a nice act and expressed surprise over them being cops.
Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) explained that Gil was the owner of The Bistro and her new boss, but she seemed uneasy as Gil led her away.
Harris picked up on the weird vibe, but Jada thought he was just being overprotective of Ava.
In Leo’s old suite, he marveled along with Dimitri over them being able to slip past Jada and Harris in their ghost costumes.
Leo grabbed the petty cash envelope, but he needed to just the bathroom before they left.
Meanwhile, Harris and Jada realized the crime scene tape had been torn down outside Leo’s room, so they drew their weapons and burst in.
There was a dropped pitcher on the floor and a damp spot, so Jada and Harris assumed they’d just missed Leo and Dimitri.
After Harris recalled seeing a couple of people dressed as ghosts in the lobby, he took off after them along with Jada.
Harris and Jada indeed caught up with the ghosts in the park, but they unveiled them and realized they got the wrong guys!
As for Dimitri and Leo, they made it back to their motel on the outskirts of town and celebrated pulling off their plan.
Back with Gil on Wednesday’s Days episode, he initially expressed concern over Ava being tight with the cops, but then he decided they might be able to use it to their advantage.
Gil felt that Ava would have the inside track on what the police knew, but Ava warned him that Harris was a trained assassin.
Although Gil said that was duly noted, he didn’t want Ava getting ideas about confessing their arrangement to Harris.
At the townhouse on Wednesday’s DOOL show, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) told Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) that he was accepting Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus) and Stefan DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) help getting Rachel Black (Finley Rose Slater) back.
Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) worried about Stefan and Gabi’s agenda, but Brady didn’t care whether it was illegal and didn’t want all the details.
All Brady cared about was the chance to get custody of Rachel again, so he was prepared to play as dirty as Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) normally would.
At the DiMera mansion, Gabi spoke to Kristen and learned she was headed to lunch with EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) for some brother-sister bonding, so Gabi assumed this was about the DiMera shares.
Kristen wanted to say goodbye to Rachel before she left, but Gabi claimed Rachel was off carving a pumpkin with Harold and said she’d give her the message.
As Kristen was leaving, she flashed back to standing her ground with Brady over the judge’s custody ruling.
When Marlena showed up with some Halloween goodies for Rachel, she hoped to give her the bag in person.
Kristen said she didn’t let Rachel have candy, but Marlena at least wanted to see Rachel since she missed her. After Kristen replied that Rachel didn’t miss Marlena, she sauntered off.
Back inside the DiMera mansion, Stefan told Rachel there was a costume contest and offered the chance to win Taylor Swift tickets.
Since Gabi was a fashion designer, Stefan insisted she could help Rachel out.
Later, Gabi whipped out a makeup bag and got to work on Rachel’s face. It was decided that Rachel would be a black-eyed pea, but Gabi acted like she’d work fast on the actual costume part later.
Gabi did Rachel’s makeup so that it looked like she had a black eye and a slightly busted lip.
After pretending to read a rule about only parents being allowed to help, Gabi suggested there must be a workaround.
Gabi then made a video of Rachel and asked her who did that to her face. Rachel insisted her mommy did and declared that she wouldn’t lie about something like that!
Next on Wednesday’s Days episode, Stefan met with Brady and told him to intercept Kristen in the town square. Brady got a little more info off-screen so he’d know what to do when he picked a fight.
Once Brady tracked Kristen down, he complained about Rachel’s math grade and felt that Kristen could do better than Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) for a tutor.
Brady also heard from Tate Black (Jamie Martin Mann) that Rachel was upset over Kristen making her do a ton of extra math problems.
Although Brady griped about Rachel’s punishment, Kristen snapped that she’d discipline her daughter however she saw fit.
Stefan stood nearby and recorded that part of the conversation, so he seemed pleased over getting the perfect soundbite.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Kristen’s on the verge of getting backed into a corner, so stay tuned for updates on the bad news that’s brewing.
