Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) will share a bittersweet goodbye with Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) during the week of February 27-March 3. Sonny has decided to leave with Will Horton (Chandler Massey) for New Zealand, so he’ll say all his farewells soon.
Alex, Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth), Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) will all be part of Sonny’s sendoff.
Although Alex will miss having his brother in Salem, he’ll understand why Sonny wants to be close to Will and make their marriage a priority.
Of course, Days spoilers say Alex will also view this as a golden career opportunity.
Sonny mentioned that he’d work remotely, but he also talked about Alex stepping up like he did when Sonny was recovering from his stab wound.
Alex thrived in the CEO spot during that time, so he’ll hope to slide in that role permanently.
Once Alex gets updates on Sonny’s imminent departure, Days spoilers say he’ll eagerly await a promotion from Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston).
Since John Aniston passed away, his final DOOL scenes have already aired. Victor, on the other hand, is still alive for now and will remain part of the story through decisions he makes offscreen.
Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) sometimes deals with Titan business for Victor, so it sounds like she’ll do that this time around, too.
Just when Alex expects to land on the Titan throne for good, Days spoilers say Maggie’s going to throw him a curveball.
Perhaps Maggie will mention that Victor’s out of town and has asked her to deliver some news for him.
Alex may hope for his official CEO promotion, but Maggie’s bombshell may mean he won’t get one – at least not yet.
Will Maggie reveal Victor’s plans for a different CEO instead?
Maybe Maggie herself will be put in charge temporarily or even Justin if he wants to take a break from legal drama for a while.
If Alex wants a real shot at the Titan throne, he may have to make some bold moves and prove he deserves it.
Victor is known for testing his family members, so he may force Alex to think outside the box and make some major company improvements.
