Days of Our Lives (DOOL) reveal that Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) will find someone to bond with during her time at Bayview. Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) convinced Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) to have him committed, so he’ll eventually get to know Ava since they’ll both be patients.
Ava is apparently doing somewhat better than she was before since she’s no longer in a catatonic state.
Although Ava was previously dealing with visions of Charlie Dale (Mike Manning), perhaps those have mostly subsided too through therapy and medication.
During the week of August 7-11, Days spoilers say Ava and Harris will make a connection.
Harris doesn’t trust himself due to all the programming he’s endured, so Ava can relate since she’s struggled to trust what’s real and what’s in her head.
It’s easy to see how Harris and Ava could form a friendship that perhaps leads to love.
Assuming that Ava gets out of Bayview around the time Harris does, they could kick off a new romance on the outside.
Although Harris is one of the good guys now, he’s still got a bad boy image that’ll be tough to shake.
No matter what Harris’ future looks like, everyone knows he’s capable of terrible things when he’s under mind control.
Programmed Harris targeted Tripp Johnson’s (Lucas Adams) family on DOOL’s Beyond Salem series, so Tripp may be wary of him getting involved with Ava.
That’s especially true since Ava has a habit of falling too hard for men and becoming obsessed with them.
Tripp may think a romance in general is an awful idea for Ava – at least when she’s trying to find her footing again outside Bayview.
However, the heart wants what it wants, so Ava and Harris might be headed for a risky new love story on Days anyway.
Tripp may flip out and decide he’ll have to keep a close eye on Ava to watch for signs of obsession.
Likewise, Tripp will want to keep tabs on Harris and make sure his programming is truly a thing of the past.
Tamara Braun and Steve Burton previously worked together as costars on General Hospital, so it’ll be fun to see their characters playing in a new Days storyline now.
