Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Thomas DiMera (Cary Christopher) and Charlotte DiMera (Autumn Gendron) will get some huge news soon. Now that Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) are on the same page about dating, they’ll waste no time in telling the kids.
During the week of February 6-10, Stephanie and Chad will have some important updates to share.
Days spoilers say Chad will round up Charlotte and Thomas so they can all have a crucial conversation.
Stephanie will be part of the discussion, but she’ll no doubt let Chad take the lead.
This will be a tricky topic since it hasn’t been that long since Thomas and Charlotte lost their beloved mother.
Days spoilers say Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) is still very much on their minds and in their hearts, so Chad will have to be careful in how he handles things with his children.
The same goes for Stephanie, who adores Charlotte and Thomas by now. The kids obviously love doing fun activities with Stephanie – like the time they begged her to go ice skating.
However, there’s a big difference in Stephanie hanging out as a family friend and as someone they might view as Abigail’s replacement.
Charlotte is younger and has really latched onto Stephanie, so she may be pretty easy-going about the whole thing.
Thomas, on the other hand, could be a little harder to sell on the idea.
DOOL fans know losing Abigail was perhaps tougher on Thomas due to his age and the fact that he’s a sensitive kid.
Although Thomas seems to like Stephanie, he could still lash out. Thomas might insist that he doesn’t want a new mommy and act like Chad doesn’t care about his old one anymore.
It’d be smart for Days writers to throw in a bit more drama here since Thomas and Charlotte have been receptive to Stephanie so far.
It could rock the boat once Chad reveals that he’s now dating Stephanie, but she might assure Charlotte and Thomas that she’d never try to replace Abigail.
Stephanie may contend that she’s still going to be a special friend and explain that she just wants to get to know Chad even better.
Chad might argue that Abigail would want them all to be happy and point out that hanging out with Stephanie indeed achieves that.
Of course, Stephanie could become Thomas and Charlotte’s stepmom someday, but that’s a long way off!
For now, Stephanie and Chad will just want a chance to let love bloom, so they’ll sit the kids down and hopefully get their blessing.
