Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that we’ve got some comings and goings news to share, so let’s dive in and talk about what’s happening. For starters, it looks like Emily O’Brien has wrapped her very brief return as Gwen von Leuschner – at least for now.
Of course, O’Brien will be sticking around as Theresa Donovan since that’s her main role now.
Gwen might pop up again at some point, but she’s currently busy trying to get her hands on the Von Leuschner fortune in Alamainia.
Now that Gwen has agreed to sell Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) her half of The Spectator, their business appears to have concluded.
Even so, it was nice to see Gwen on Days again and hear that familiar British accent of hers!
In other news, Steve Mize recently made his DOOL debut as Dr. Pierce, the shady physician who convinced Nicole Walker-DiMera (Arianne Zucker) and EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) that the baby didn’t make it.
It seems Dr. Pierce will appear once again during the week of November 20-24 since Days spoilers say Nicole will demand to see her deceased son.
Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) expects Dr. Pierce to figure this part out and keep the lie going, so he might find some other woman’s deceased baby at the hospital and pretend it’s the right one.
Then again, Dr. Pierce might steer Nicole away from seeing her son one final time instead.
Either way, Dr. Pierce may have a challenge to tackle once Nicole flies into rage and demands one last reunion with her baby.
The week of November 20-24 will also bring a shocking situation with Gil Carter (David S. Lee), who’ll try to assault Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) when she refuses to cooperate.
After Ava insists she won’t steal Harris Michaels’ (Steve Burton) key to the Salem PC evidence room to clear a perp’s name, Gil will cross the line in a big way.
Harris will make a stunning discovery later when he spots Ava standing over Gil, whose body will be motionless on the ground.
It sounds like Ava will send Gil to meet his maker, so that’s a Days exit to add to the list.
Next, Clyde Weston (James Read) will make another appearance on November 22, which is when he’ll meet with Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) and force him to become Ava’s new partner in crime.
Stefan will have to do Clyde’s bidding or presumably risk Gabi DiMera’s (Camila Banus) safety, so stay tuned for updates on all the turmoil.
Finally, we should address the fact that Lauren Koslow (Kate Roberts Brady) has been dropped down to recurring. Koslow is no longer a contract player, but she’ll continue playing the role of Kate in her new status.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Kate will still find ways to stay involved in Salem, even if it’s on a less frequent basis.
