Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Konstantin Meleounis (John Kapelos) recently charmed Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) with his condolences, an old photo album and stories about her beloved Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston).
Maggie is feeling rather lost without Victor, so she’s latching onto Konstantin during what’s obviously a very vulnerable time for her.
Konstantin seems nice enough on the surface, but Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) clearly doesn’t trust him based on his reaction to Konstantin’s recent arrival.
Justin definitely looked suspicious over Maggie warming up to Konstantin so quickly and inviting him to stay at the Kiriakis mansion.
Although Konstantin claims to be an old friend of Victor and has photos from their younger years, Days spoilers hint that he may not be telling the whole story.
In reality, Konstantin may have grown up to be jealous of Victor and resentful of the massive empire he built.
Konstantin mentioned that Victor gave him a loan for his restaurant, but that may not be true.
It’s possible Victor was paying Konstantin hush money if he knew about Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) being Victor’s son.
Victor loathed Xander for many years, which was understandable considering Xander was busy doing things like locking people in cages and nearly eliminating Victor’s beloved grandson, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf).
Victor may have thought his reputation would be ruined if he came clean about Xander – not to mention he wouldn’t have wanted to go back on his word to Xander’s mother.
There’s pretty much no way that sweet letter from Victor’s briefcase was written by sassy Anjelica Deveraux (Judith Chapman), so it was obviously tampered with.
Theresa had the means, motive and opportunity to make Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) the heir on the last page, so we may see her story collide with Kontantin’s.
Since Victor visited Konstantin shortly before his plane crash, he might’ve been letting Konstantin know that the deal was off and that the truth was coming out.
Victor might’ve filled Konstantin in on the will changes and his plan to finally acknowledge Xander, which perhaps meant no more hush money payments.
Regardless, DOOL fans know Victor is gone now, so Konstantin’s trip to Salem may be about finding a new source of cash.
Konstantin is cozying up to Maggie, who was given half of Victor’s fortune in the revised will that was discovered.
Days spoilers say Konstantin announced his plans to stick around Salem and explore, so Maggie will help him out with that as they continue to bond during the week of October 16-20.
However, Theresa will get an unexpected visitor that throws her off her game.
Days spoilers suggest that could set the stage for Theresa’s tough setback during the week of October 23-27.
Konstantin may hope to swindle Maggie out of her riches, but he may not let Theresa off the hook if he knows she tampered with the letter.
This could turn into a situation where Konstantin demands money or at least help winning Maggie’s heart for the sake of his bank account.
Theresa is connected to wealthy Brady, who would have some sway with Maggie if he sang Konstantin’s praises.
Whatever the case, it seems like Konstantin may be on the verge of shaking up Salem and blackmailing Theresa in the process.
