Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that someone seemingly set Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus) up to go down for Li Shin’s (Remington Hoffman) demise. Gabi and Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) have considered the possibility that Li arranged all this himself, but what if there’s another explanation?
It’s possible that Li wasn’t aware of who his attacker was since they clearly came at him from behind.
If Li didn’t know the person’s identity or realized it was just some unknown hitman who’d been hired, he might’ve made a calculated decision in his final moments.
DOOL fans know Li claimed Gabi was the one who stabbed him, but that may have been a way to make lemonade out of lemons in his eyes.
If Li was fading fast and didn’t know who was behind what happened, Days spoilers suggest it makes perfect sense that he’d go ahead and blame Gabi.
In other words, Li may not have been able to send his real stabber to prison anyway, so why not get the revenge he was craving and send Gabi instead?
Even if Li knew who came after him, Days spoilers hint that he might’ve decided he wanted revenge on Gabi more!
Li wasn’t doing great mentally at the time of his demise, so that’s important for Days viewers to keep in mind.
Whatever the case, Gabi is clearly innocent and fully believes she’d been framed, so who might’ve instigated all this drama?
Could it have been Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel) since she had a motive for payback?
Vivian warned that if Gabi got in her way, she’d make her regret it. Soon after, Gabi ratted Vivian out to the cops for firing at Dimitri von Leuschner (Peter Porte) and made it so her newly free mother-in-law had to go on the run.
Vivian wasn’t happy about being separated from Stefan, especially when she had big plans for her own role at DiMera Enterprises.
There’s no way Vivian would’ve wanted Gabi to gain power along with Stefan, so maybe she heard about EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feuerriegel) ouster and moved forward with a plan to push Gabi out of the picture.
Vivian flew to Alamainia as part of her getaway plot, but she easily could’ve sent Ivan Marais (Ivan G’Vera) or another gloving-wearing henchman to carry out grisly orders and make sure Gabi went down for the crime.
