Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) has some tough times ahead of her since a car crash will send her into labor too early. Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) will deliver Nicole’s baby on the side of the road, but some crazy Days twists are ahead.
Melinda Trask (Tina Haung) will help Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) illegally adopt Nicole’s newborn son, which won’t be too hard after a paid doctor claims the boy didn’t survive.
If Nicole wants to see her baby and say goodbye, a random stillborn child from the hospital could be swapped in for that part.
Days spoilers say Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) will become an adoptive dad to his own flesh and blood, but he won’t realize that just yet.
Of course, Eric will support Nicole as she deals with the devastation of thinking her precious bundle of joy didn’t make it.
That’ll lead to some jealous DOOL scenes for EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) as he watches Nicole crumble in Eric’s arms.
EJ will be able to see Eric and Nicole’s lingering feelings first-hand, so he’ll inevitably worry about them reconnecting. That could be important if EJ perhaps follows a trail and uncovers the stunning truth.
EJ is a pretty smart guy, so he may figure out that Sloan’s newly adopted child is actually Nicole’s little one.
Unfortunately, EJ might also find out that the baby isn’t his. Days fans know there’s paternity proof right there in the DiMera safe since Sloan messed up the DNA report switch.
If EJ confronts Melinda, Sloan or both, they might convince him that he’ll lose Nicole forever if he comes clean.
Nicole would want to reunite with Eric to raise their child together, so EJ could become highly motivated to join the baby theft cover-up.
Although that would mean letting Nicole grieve unnecessarily, EJ might still keep his mouth shut out of fear that she’d leave him for Eric.
In other words, EJ may become privy to Sloan’s paternity secret and baby-stealing, but he might tell himself he has to stay quiet to prevent Eric and Nicole’s reunion!
