Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that a partner swap could be brewing down the road. DOOL fans know Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) was robbed of her happily ever after with Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan), so they aren’t on good terms at the moment.
Eric has always been judgmental, but he’s being especially unfair to Nicole now by blaming her for Jada Hunter’s (Elia Cantu) abortion.
That was Jada’s choice alone – no matter what advice Nicole had to offer.
However, there’s hope for Eric to soften his stance eventually.
Once Eric comes to grips with that loss, he may see that he wrongfully took his pain and anger out on Nicole.
As bleak as things seem between Nicole and Eric, it’s just tough to believe Days will throw this pairing away completely.
Eric and Nicole are arguably a supercouple that’s decades in the making, so all of this may simply be another obstacle on the way to a happy ending.
Of course, Days spoilers say Eric will grow closer to Sloan in the meantime, so he may teach her how to open herself up to love – even if their romance isn’t meant to last.
Sloan could end up getting her heart broken if she gives it to Eric.
We may see Sloan make some updates to her casual relationship mentality – only for it to end with bad breakup news.
Likewise, EJ is falling for Nicole again and may get burned as a result. There’ll be messy twists and turns in Nicole’s renewed romance with EJ, but they may not be meant as a long-term duo either.
In other words, EJ and Sloan may learn a difficult lesson – one that all of Nicole and Eric’s other love interests have had to learn.
Jada and Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) are just the latest Salemites to realize you just can’t count out an “Ericole” reunion.
If Eric and Nicole ultimately get back together, that could lead to Sloan and EJ leaning on each other in heartache.
It’s easy to imagine EJ and Sloan becoming drinking buddies as well as hookup partners, but maybe they could find love, too.
