Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Sloan Petersen’s (Jessica Serfaty) secret has to leak at some point. DOOL fans know Sloan couldn’t go through with swabbing Eric Brady’s (Greg Vaughan) cheek since she feared he might be confirmed as the father of Nicole Walker’s (Arianne Zucker) baby.
Since Eric probably would’ve reunited with Nicole in that case, Sloan opted to swab herself instead and ensure that Eric was ruled out as the “baby daddy.”
EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) was delighted over Eric not being a match, but what happens if he learns Sloan deceived him along with Eric and Nicole?
Although EJ is stuck as Megan DiMera’s (Miranda Wilson) hostage right now, Days spoilers say he’ll gain his freedom during the week of July 3-7. From there, EJ can rejoin the action with all the baby drama.
EJ will be furious if somehow discovers Sloan’s secret, but she may push him to see the benefits.
Perhaps Sloan will ask EJ if he really wants to lose Nicole any more than she wants to lose Eric.
Sloan might convince EJ that he can be a father to this child no matter what the real DNA results are.
That way, EJ can marry Nicole and live happily ever after.
Days spoilers say Sloan will plan on a happy ending with Eric and their own child too, so she’ll feel like her sneaky move was a good thing all around.
It’s possible EJ will run his own DNA test just so he can know for sure – and if he does, he might get confirmation that Nicole’s baby isn’t his.
Even so, EJ might come to realize that Sloan’s right and make a pact with her to keep everything under wraps.
In other words, EJ may decide to keep Nicole and Eric in the dark on their child to lock in a future with the woman he loves.
That would double the trouble and worsen the fallout on Days when the time comes.
Eric and Nicole are already going to be livid with Sloan for her trickery, so they might as well be outraged with EJ for his silence!
If Sloan and EJ ultimately end up stuck in this mess together, that means they’ll also go down as a team.
